How does Ha Tinh build a united, prosperous and happy residential area?

On the afternoon of October 8, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province held the 2nd Conference to deploy the Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 15th Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front Delegates of Ha Tinh province, the Working Program for the entire term, and the Working Regulations of the 15th Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, term 2024-2029.

One of the issues that the conference focused on the most was discussing solutions to implement the 6th Action Program "Promoting the role of mastery and self-management of the people, building a united, prosperous and happy residential area associated with promoting the cultural values and people of Ha Tinh". This is a new Action Program launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ha Tinh province issued a resolution to implement it.

Mr. Tran Nhat Tan, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province, suggested that delegates focus on discussing the implementation of the 6th Action Program in a specific manner to promote the effectiveness of the locality in the process of building a model new rural residential area. "Currently, Ha Tinh has a foundation of 73% of residential areas meeting the model new rural standards. Is it possible for us to implement this Action Program ahead of schedule?", Mr. Tran Nhat Tan asked.

The main solution to implement the 6th Action Program proposed by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province is: Organizing activities to promote and preserve the cultural identity of the community, thereby gathering, listening, uniting the people and promoting the role of the people as masters. Focusing on training, guiding, promoting the role of prestigious people in the community; promoting the good aspects of traditional community forms such as fellow countrymen, clans, and families.

Play a good political core role, guide and promote the spirit of self-management of the residential community, improve the effectiveness of implementing democracy at the grassroots level, reconciliation and supervision of the people in the community. Implement well the motto "people know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people supervise, people benefit" in each residential area; each residential area must be the center, the subject of active participation.

Strengthen guidance, build and replicate self-management models and activities in the community, especially self-management models on ensuring security, order, environmental protection, production, business, helping each other to sustainably reduce poverty..., as a basis for forming a united, safe, prosperous and happy residential area.

Strengthen security and safety; build orderly and disciplined residential areas, healthy and civilized cultural and social ethical environments; repel negativity, crime and social evils. Expand models of solidarity and military-civilian twinning.

Strengthening the dissemination of advanced examples, new and creative models, "using beauty to eliminate ugliness", using positivity to push back negativity; setting examples of good people, good deeds, praising typical exemplary parents and grandparents, filial children and grandchildren, residential areas that encourage learning and talent, green, clean and beautiful models to create a spread and inspiration in the community and society.

Strengthen coordination, guidance, information provision, popularization and promotion of cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities to create cohesion in the community; build model residential areas, associated with the construction and replication of the model "Community Cultural House - House of Wisdom".

Promote the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, mobilize resources from the community to care for and help the poor and those in difficult circumstances, especially in economic development. Encourage start-ups and innovation, promote learning, labor, production, business, improve the quality of life, and bring happiness to all people.

Innovate and improve the quality of "National Great Unity Day" as the focus for attracting and gathering people, building self-governing, united, prosperous and happy residential areas.

According to the delegates, the Program "Promoting the role of mastery and self-management of the People, building a united, prosperous and happy residential area associated with promoting the cultural values and people of Ha Tinh" needs to take residential areas as the core for implementation. Through specific activities at community cultural houses, inter-family groups, residential clusters...

In particular, maximize the effectiveness of the model "Community Cultural House - House of Wisdom", gradually replicate it in places with conditions; improve the quality of model new rural residential areas to gradually achieve the criteria of a united, prosperous and happy residential area.
