On October 18, at Ly Tu Trong Memorial Area (Viet Tien Commune, Thach Ha District, Ha Tinh), a photo exhibition with the theme "Ly Tu Trong - The torchbearer" took place.
The exhibition is hosted by the Ha Tinh Provincial Cinema and Culture Center. This is one of a series of activities to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the birth of hero Ly Tu Trong (October 20, 1914 - October 20, 2024).
The exhibition includes 3 parts: Birthplace, hometown and family; Revolutionary activities; Vietnamese youth following the revolutionary path of Ly Tu Trong.
The exhibition displayed nearly 200 images, documents and artifacts of historical value, including many newly collected and discovered images and documents for the first time.
The photos on display aim to give an overview of his hometown Ha Tinh, a land rich in historical and cultural traditions, his family, and his revolutionary activities.
The exhibition contributes to educating the tradition of patriotism, revolutionary ideals, and fostering the confidence of Vietnamese youth in the revolutionary path that the Party, Uncle Ho and our people have chosen.
Mr. Tran Van Sang, Deputy Director of the Ha Tinh Province Cinema and Cultural Center, said that with nearly 200 images, documents, and artifacts of historical value, including many newly collected and discovered images and documents, being displayed and exhibited for the first time, it contributes to clarifying the life, career, and revolutionary spirit of Ly Tu Trong.
The exhibition was hosted by the Ha Tinh Province Cultural and Cinema Center and took place from October 18 to 20. The exhibition attracted many people including union members, youth and tourists from inside and outside the province.
