According to the enrollment plan for the first grade classes in the 2023-2024 school year of Hanoi city, from July 1 to July 9, the entire city will organize online enrollment for 5-year-old preschool children and first and sixth grade students in the 2023-2024 school year.
As of 6:00 p.m. on July 1, online applications for admission to grade 1 for the 2023-2024 school year in Hanoi reached nearly 68% of the total enrollment target. This is the data calculated from 0:00 to 18:00 on July 1, the first day schools organized online enrollment.

Some units with very high online enrollment registration success rates on the first day are My Duc district with 94.84%, Thanh Oai district with 91.91%, Hoang Mai district with 86.75%, Dan Phuong district with 85.57%, Phu Xuyen district with 84.81%, Ba Vi district with 82.72%.
On the first day of online enrollment, schools in the city arranged staff, teachers and infrastructure to support and guide parents to register; the system operated smoothly and stably. Feedback from parents showed that schools actively supported and operations on the system were easy to perform.
According to the plan, the online registration period for first grade admission will last until 12:00 p.m. on July 3. After the online registration period ends, parents can go directly to the school to complete the admission procedures from July 13 to 18.
In the 2023-2024 school year, the total enrollment target for grade 1 of primary schools in the city is 138,630 students, an increase of about 11,000 students compared to the 2022-2023 school year.
