Phu Tho Primary School, District 11, Ho Chi Minh City organized many activities to welcome students on the first day of school. Early in the morning, the principal, teachers and staff of the school welcomed the first graders right in the school yard from the hands of their parents, gave them a name tag and also gave the same name tag to their parents.

After finishing arranging the pinwheels and coloring, the children can go to class and get to know their teacher and friends. There, the teacher will give them gifts and help them get acquainted with the school year's routines.

"There is a week to get to know the teacher, friends, and school, so we organize activities so that through these activities, the children will easily get used to the new environment and not feel overwhelmed... After only sitting together for 2 hours, many children already know each other's names while drawing and coloring," Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Huong - principal of Phu Tho Primary School, District 11 - informed.

At Luong Dinh Cua Primary School, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, from early morning the principal, teachers and staff were present to welcome students and parents bringing their children to school.
Right in the school yard, the students were given cute gifts by their teachers, given name tags, and then led into the classroom by their teachers to practice discipline.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Ho Chi Minh City primary education will continue to effectively implement the 2018 general education program; focus on developing schools and classes; promote digital transformation; continue to implement projects of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee such as "Teaching foreign languages in the national education system", "Improving IT capacity and skills for Ho Chi Minh City high school students...".
