Help customers do business conveniently

Over the years, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) has always played a pioneering role in implementing major policies and orientations of the Government and the State Bank of Vietnam in maintaining low lending interest rates; exempting and reducing interest and transaction fees; promoting digital transformation, simplifying lending processes and procedures to support people and businesses, and promoting economic growth.

From the beginning of the year, in order to provide sufficient capital to individual customers, business owners, and private enterprise owners to borrow capital for production and business, Vietcombank has implemented a preferential interest rate loan program with a scale of 250,000 billion VND. This credit program helps borrowers supplement working capital for production and business with a floor interest rate of only 4.6%/year, among the lowest in the market. Thereby, it demonstrates Vietcombank's solidarity and companionship with customers in the effort to reduce lending interest rates.

In addition, Vietcombank also provides many features and utilities on the digital banking application to help customers facilitate transactions. Most recently, Vietcombank is the first bank to launch the feature "Voice balance change notification" (Voice OTT) on the VCB Digibank digital banking application. This feature helps users recognize the amount of money transferred without having to open the application.

Vietcombank representative said that the Voice OTT feature is especially useful for sellers, individual businesses and those who regularly receive money transfers, helping customers to be more convenient in their daily business thanks to the following outstanding benefits: Customers do not have to pay any additional costs when using this feature; quick installation, taking less than a minute to activate directly on the VCB Digibank application; no need to link a third-party application, simplifying the usage process. When a transaction arrives, the system will play a voice notification through the phone speaker, helping customers to immediately recognize it without having to open the application or phone screen. For noisy environments or when a higher volume is needed, customers can connect their phone to a Bluetooth speaker/headphone to receive clearer notifications.

For the feature to work effectively, the user's phone needs to turn off silent mode and allow the VCB Digibank digital banking application to send notifications. Unlike the money receiving notification speaker, the Voice OTT feature does not require the installation of a third-party application or additional investment in equipment. In addition, users can easily combine Voice OTT with other features for sellers such as: QR sales; sharing balance fluctuations; linking with KiotViet software... to optimize business operations. With the launch of Voice OTT, Vietcombank continues to affirm its commitment to bringing customers modern digital banking solutions, constantly innovating to improve customer experience in the digital age.

Excited about using the Voice OTT feature, Mr. Le Manh Ha, from Duy Tan Street, Cau Giay District, Hanoi, shared: “I was about to invest in a device that broadcasts balance changes at the store when I learned about the Voice OTT feature on the VCB Digibank digital banking application. I just need to activate it on the application and I can hear the balance change notification when a customer transfers money. Therefore, I don’t need to buy a balance change notification speaker anymore.”
