According to the auction company, the 7th auction is scheduled to take place on January 29. Previously, the property was put up for sale 6 times but there were no buyers.
The latest starting price is VND23,294 billion, down nearly VND2.6 billion compared to the 6th auction, and down VND12.41 billion compared to the first starting price announced more than a year ago, equivalent to a 35% decrease compared to the original price.
This yacht is currently anchored at Sa Ke wharf at 440/6 No Trang Long, Ward 13, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City.
FLC Albatross yacht with license plate HN-2014 of FLC Group Corporation was built in Poland in 2017, with a capacity of 12 people.
The yacht was imported to Vietnam by Mr. Trinh Van Quyet (former Chairman of FLC) in 2018. This property is mortgaged at BIDV Quy Nhon branch, used, and put up for auction to recover debt.
The yacht has a design length of 16.62 m; maximum length of 21.95 m; design width of 4.88 m; maximum width of 5.25 m; side height of 3.15 m; draft of 1.15 m (Freeboard 2.000 m; FRP hull material).
Previously, this yacht was "assigned" by FLC Group to FLC Biscom Yacht - Golf Course Investment Company Limited, a company established by Mr. Trinh Van Quyet in 2016 with the purpose of managing and operating FLC's golf course and yacht system.
In particular, FLC Biscom has added the FLC Yacht Club segment to exploit the aforementioned FLC Albatross yacht. This is also the most significant asset of FLC Yacht.
Before being seized by the bank, FLC Albatross's operating area was usually Ha Long Bay or Quy Nhon beach, where FLC's golf courses are located.
Previously, in September 2022, BIDV Quy Nhon also seized the collateral, a 5-seat Rolls-Royce supercar with license plate 30F-187.88, of FLC Faros Construction JSC (ROS) to settle the debt and auctioned it at a starting price of 10 billion VND.
In April 2023, this car was sold to a car enthusiast in Dong Nai at the 6th auction. However, the successful bid price of this Rolls-Royce was not disclosed.
In addition to the aforementioned Rolls-Royce, another Rolls-Royce of Mr. Trinh Van Quyet was also seized by Orient Commercial Bank (OCB) to ensure debt collection for the loan of FLC Land Company.
This car was once sold by OCB for 28 billion VND, but was later transferred to a car showroom in Dong Nai for 16.6 billion VND in the 7th auction held in May 2023.
