On April 18, in Hanoi, the international exhibition on beauty products, technology and services (Vietnam Beautycare Expo 2024) officially opened.

The exhibition takes place over 3 days (April 18-20) with over 200 booths representing 15 leading countries and territories in the beauty industry such as: Germany, Netherlands, Morocco, Japan, Korea, China, Singapore and many other countries.

Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Ms. Ha Thi Phuong Lam - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of ADPEX Joint Stock Company and Global Exhibition and Conference Joint Stock Company emphasized that with the development of socio-economy, the demand for beauty of consumers is increasing in both quantity and quality.

According to Ms. Lam, modern, innovative technologies have created new opportunities to interact and connect with consumers, helping beauty brands build strong relationships with consumers.

Looking to 2023 and predicting that the beauty market in Vietnam and the world in 2024 will continue to grow strongly, the trend of increasing awareness of health care and beauty will continue to drive sustainable demand in the beauty industry.

Processing technology from the production process, input materials to removing impurities to produce high quality beauty care products that meet consumer needs is very important.

“In addition, consumers are not only concerned about the materials used in product packaging but also consider their recyclability. Advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality and virtual experiences will be widely applied to improve the shopping experience and interact with consumers,” said Ms. Lam.

Vietnam Beautycare Expo is not only an opportunity to introduce and promote new products but also a place to exchange knowledge, experience, technology and the latest trends.

“We hope that, through promoting cooperation and information sharing, the exhibition will contribute to the sustainable development of the beauty industry in Vietnam,” Ms. Lam emphasized.

Mr. Park Sukeun - Chairman of Busan Cosmetic Industry Association (Korea) said that with the increasing popularity of Korean beauty products globally, the support from consumers in Vietnam is very important and valuable.

“Many of our members are expanding their business cooperation in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Therefore, participating in this beauty exhibition in Vietnam is an important step for Busan Cosmetic Industry Association. Hopefully, the exhibition will bring good opportunities for cooperation and open up development possibilities in the future,” said Mr. Park Su Keun.

The event attracted a large number of domestic and foreign customers.

Arriving early in the morning to visit the booths, Lina Tran Hue (Hoang Mai, Hanoi) shared: “Visiting the health and beauty exhibition booth, I was really surprised because there were so many products that I had never known before. I hope there will be more meaningful exhibitions, creating a playground for people to know more beauty products.”

The fields and products participating in the exhibition are very diverse such as: Cosmetics; spa, massage, beauty; products and services for skin, hair, nail, oral care; beauty supplements...

Mr. Park Junwoo - Director of exclusive distribution of Cucomin Korea in the Asian market said that the demand for health care and beauty products in Vietnam is increasing and Vietnamese consumers attach great importance to the quality and origin of the products. Through this exhibition, he hopes to bring the brand closer to consumers .
