Help workers better understand cashless

On the morning of June 14, more than 1,000 workers, students and vocational school students attended the Dak Lak Provincial Job Fair 2024.

Many young people confidently answered questions about cashless work from the organizers and interviewed directly in foreign languages ​​with employers.

At the festival, the State Bank of Vietnam organized the mini game "Understanding finance" to help workers in Dak Lak province, especially students, to soon access and improve their understanding and knowledge of banking and finance.

This is one of the fun and useful programs, contributing to the implementation of the project to develop non-cash payments in Vietnam in the period of 2021-2025 and the project to promote bank payments for public services.

The goal is to change awareness, change behavior and create good financial habits, contributing to protecting consumers using financial services, minimizing risks for people and society, and creating good financial habits in the community.

After participating in the mini game, Nguyen Lan Uyen, a student at a college in Dak Lak, said she understood more about some forms of non-cash payment, had more knowledge about money and the history of Vietnamese currency, how to behave with money...

Also here, there is a booth where a "judge" sits, surrounded by young people who have attended skill classes and prepared procedures to go abroad to work.

The "judge" asked random questions in Korean, and many young people volunteered to answer directly. Although many young people had not studied for long, their Korean was quite fluent, and they were praised by the recruiting unit.

There are 10,000 job vacancies waiting for workers.

Dak Lak Provincial Job Fair 2024 has the participation of more than 1,000 workers, students, and pupils... in the province.

There are also 30 participating businesses with 10,000 domestic jobs and labor export to Japan, Korea, Taiwan (China), Australia, Germany...

In the first months of 2024, there were 531 units and enterprises inside and outside the province with a need to recruit 7,947 workers, of which the need to recruit unskilled workers was 6,681 people (accounting for 84%).
