This is the result of a dialogue between workers and business leaders witnessed by the trade union and authorities on the afternoon of March 21, after 72/140 workers stopped working.

At the dialogue, the enterprise agreed to increase the basic salary by 300,000 VND/person/month (from 4,410,000 VND/month to 4,710,000 VND/month).
Workers' petitions related to attendance fees, penalty payments, overtime and the company's unjustified dismissal of workers will be notified of the results on Monday, March 24.
However, by the evening of March 21, a representative of Zonsen International Packaging Company Limited - Nghe An Branch announced that from April, the company will increase the basic salary to 4,950,000 VND/month according to the request of employees.
Ms. Tran Thi Nguyet said that the collective work stoppage by the company's workers was predicted in advance, after the company's leaders failed to resolve the request for a wage increase on February 28. The company's leaders did not organize a dialogue with the workers and blocked the messaging function in the company's Zalo group.

During the supervision of the implementation of labor safety and hygiene laws at Zonsen International Packaging Company Limited - Nghe An Branch in March 2024, the supervision team of the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone discovered that this enterprise had not signed contracts, paid social insurance for 21/123 employees, had not developed a collective labor agreement, had not developed a salary scale...
The monitoring team also discovered that the company also applied fines and deducted wages from employees in violation of the Labor Law and had not yet established grassroots democracy regulations at the workplace.
In addition, this company also has many violations and shortcomings in the implementation of the Law on Labor Safety and Hygiene.
The monitoring team requested Zonsen International Packaging Company Limited - Nghe An Branch to implement contents related to labor law, labor safety and hygiene, Social Insurance Law... However, at this time, some of the monitoring team's recommendations have not been implemented by this enterprise.
Working with the representative of the Trade Union of the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone on the morning of March 21, workers of Zonsen International Packaging Company Limited - Nghe An Branch requested the company to increase the basic salary from VND 4,410,000 to VND 4,950,000/month; increase the attendance allowance from VND 200,000/month to VND 300,000/month; not to require too much overtime (currently overtime is 4-5 hours/day) and not to dismiss workers unreasonably when orders decrease.
In addition, workers also complained that the company is applying a policy of deducting 300,000 VND for one mistake, while this mistake is due to workers being forced to work hard, not intentionally.
