Maintain the 2025 High School Graduation Exam Schedule

After considering many factors, the Ministry of Education and Training decided to keep the 2025 high school graduation exam schedule as announced in the 2024-2025 school year plan. Keeping the exam schedule as announced will help stabilize the psychology of students and parents and will not affect other activities in the education sector.

This is the content of the official dispatch that the Ministry of Education and Training has just sent to the Departments of Education and Training of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Ninh Binh, Nghe An, and Quang Tri to respond to the time of organizing the High School Graduation Exam in 2025. Previously, these units had sent a document requesting the Ministry of Education and Training to organize the High School Graduation Exam in 2025 3 weeks earlier than the plan announced at the beginning of the year.

The Ministry of Education and Training requests that the Departments of Education and Training closely coordinate with relevant units to implement the 2024-2025 school year plan, organize the 2025 High School Graduation Exam according to plan and ensure safety, seriousness, and compliance with regulations.

According to the 2024-2025 school year plan announced by the Ministry of Education and Training, the 2025 High School Graduation Exam is expected to be held from June 26-27. Candidates will take 4 subjects: Math, Literature and 2 elective subjects from the remaining subjects (Foreign Language, History, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Economic and Legal Education, Information Technology, Technology). This is the first year that 12th graders will take the High School Graduation Exam according to the new 2018 General Education Program.
