From March 20-23, Hanoi organized a survey test for 11th and 12th graders.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training organized a survey of the quality of 11th and 12th grade students from March 20-23, to assess the quality of students and prepare for the high school graduation exam.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has just issued a plan to test and survey the quality of 11th and 12th grade students for the 2024-2025 school year. According to the plan, the test will take place from March 20 to 23.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training will organize a survey for 11th grade students on March 20, including 2 subjects: Literature (morning, 120 minutes) and Math (afternoon, 90 minutes).

For 12th graders, the test schedule will take place from March 21 to 23. On March 21: Literature (morning, 120 minutes), Math (afternoon, 90 minutes), Foreign Language (afternoon, 50 minutes).

On March 22, students will take Physics, Chemistry, Biology (morning, 50 minutes/test); Information Technology, Technology (afternoon, 50 minutes/test). On March 23, students will take History, Geography, Economic Education and Law (morning, 50 minutes/test).

Students will take exams in Math, Literature and 2 elective subjects. Each student registers to choose 2 subjects from the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Economic and Legal Education, Information Technology, Industrial Technology (abbreviated as Industrial Technology), Agricultural Technology (abbreviated as Agricultural Technology), English.

For Foreign Languages: Russian, French, Chinese, German, Japanese, Korean, heads of units, based on the actual situation, proactively assign the task of creating test questions to subject teachers, ensuring accuracy, science, and objectivity.

The structure of the survey test for grade 11 and 12 students is implemented according to the regulations on the structure and format of the High School Graduation Exam from 2025.

The content of the survey closely follows the content of the current general education program at the high school level, mainly the subject program of the grade being tested, up to the time of the test.

The survey aims to review and evaluate the quality of students in grades 11 and 12; help educational management agencies, high schools and vocational education and continuing education centers take timely measures to improve the quality of teaching and learning, promote the implementation of innovative teaching methods, meet the requirements of the General Education Program, organize well the graduation exam review for grade 12 students and continue to improve the quality of the results of the High School Graduation Exam.

In addition, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training also organized a survey to determine the level of completion of training and learning tasks of learners according to the requirements of the current general education program; provide accurate and timely information to help learners adjust their training and learning activities; create conditions for 11th and 12th graders to get familiar with the structure and format of high school graduation exams; at the same time, determine the right direction and focus well on reviewing for high school graduation exams.

This is the second year that the Hanoi Department of Education and Training has organized a quality assessment for 11th graders. Every year, Hanoi organizes this activity but applies it to 12th graders.

The organization of the survey organized by the Hanoi Department of Education and Training always receives the support and consensus of students and parents. Although the results are not used as test scores or student evaluations, students are fully aware of the meaning and importance of this survey for their studies as well as meeting the requirements of the high school graduation exam.
