FPT University popularizes artificial intelligence for high school students

Continuing pioneering activities in AI education and contributing to the implementation of Resolution No. 57 on scientific and technological breakthroughs, innovation, and national digital transformation, FPT University organizes the FPTU GenAI Day 2025 event - a creative playground for students and technology enthusiasts nationwide.

Taking place from February 22 to 23 in Da Nang, the event attracted more than 4,000 participants, including 1,800 high school students from Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam and many other provinces and cities. This is an opportunity for young people to approach AI right from high school, contributing to equipping them with technological thinking and being ready to enter the digital age.

At the event, high school students participated in a series of intensive training courses on AI, taught directly by a team of lecturers and technology experts. Students need to know how to use technology consciously, respect copyright, avoid spreading false information, protect personal data and develop critical thinking when dealing with AI-generated content. Not only do they learn the theory of artificial intelligence, they also practice on a real-life technology platform, learning how to apply AI to their studies and lives.

In addition to teaching students the great benefits of using GenAI, FPT University's courses also set standards to follow, especially ethics and responsibility when using artificial intelligence tools.

Previously, in June 2024, FPT University also implemented the project "STEM Education Program in the era of artificial intelligence" to train on AI applications in high school teaching for more than 3,000 teachers from nearly 300 high schools.

Ngoc Hien, a 12th grade student at Le Thanh Tong High School for the Gifted (Quang Nam) said: "I am very impressed with the technology exhibition space at FPT University today. During the event, I especially liked the virtual reality VR glasses experience area. This experience helped me to broaden my knowledge about how modern technology and AI are applied in life."

FPT PolySchool turns technology into a mass tool

Recently, FPT PolySchool has implemented a program to popularize AI from North to South with dozens of training sessions organized, attracting thousands of teachers to participate. By combining visual instructions and in-class practice, FPT PolySchool helps teachers who have never been exposed to AI to quickly grasp and apply it to their daily work.

Tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Canva AI… are guided for practical use, helping teachers to apply them immediately in teaching.

In the Central region, the program has made its mark at many schools with the participation of many teachers, from the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training with 300 teachers to a series of secondary schools in Da Nang, Hue, Quang Nam, Binh Dinh... In the South, Binh Phuoc, Can Tho, Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong also welcomed this wave of innovation. In the North, Nghe An and Thai Nguyen are not out of the trend.

Tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Canva AI… are not only introduced but also guided for practical use, helping teachers to apply them immediately in their teaching. Instead of struggling with traditional methods, teachers can now take advantage of AI to be more creative, more effective and bring better learning experiences to students.

More importantly than one-off training sessions, FPT is building a smart education ecosystem where teachers continuously learn, update and exchange experiences in AI applications. A digital teacher community is gradually forming, creating the premise for sustainable innovation.

FPT High School Hanoi students bring AI to unique literary experience

In order to help students better understand the intersection between technology and creativity, and encourage the application of AI in practice, FPT High School Hanoi recently organized the event "The Intersection of Literature & AI: What is the way for us?". The event is an intellectual playground, demonstrating the proactive and creative spirit of the school's students.

The event was designed according to the "popular AI service" model with diverse experiences, attracting a large number of enthusiastic students to participate.

The special feature of the event is that the entire organization process was carried out by FPT Hanoi High School students under the guidance of teachers. From content design, building experiential activities to organizing exhibitions and debates, all bear the creative imprint of the students. The experiential areas at the event were designed according to the "popular AI service" model, in line with the spirit that FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh once shared: Bringing technology closer to everyone, helping the young generation master AI instead of just being passive users.

At the beginning of the event, visitors had the opportunity to admire the exhibition "Reinventing with AI" - a display of creative works created by students with the support of AI technology. Each product is a combination of students' creative thinking and the support of technology, creating a unique and impressive exhibition space.

In addition, guests also experienced first-hand the design of AI-powered comics or participated in games to develop content based on famous literary works. These activities stimulated the imagination and helped students better understand how technology can expand the depth and meaning of literature.

In the main hall, the activities were pushed to a climax with three attractive content parts. First was the play "Kên cá chọn canh" - a humorous and creative performance performed by students of FPT High School Hanoi. In the play, each character represents a technology tool such as Canva, ChatGPT, Invideo... thereby providing an interesting perspective on the influence of AI in literary life.

Next was a heated debate on the topic "Can AI replace humans in literary creation?". The two teams debated with two opposing perspectives, bringing sharp arguments, helping students not only broaden their thinking but also improve their argumentation and critical thinking skills. The program ended with a special MV presentation made by students with the support of AI, demonstrating their maturity in the journey of cultivating Truth - Goodness - Beauty, while affirming the potential of technology in artistic creation.

FPT Educator events demonstrate innovation in teaching methods, demonstrating the adaptability of education in the digital age. As AI becomes increasingly present in life, integrating technology into teaching helps lessons become more vivid, equipping students with important skills to integrate and conquer future challenges.
