DNVN - From 3:00 p.m. on March 13, gasoline prices were adjusted down. Each liter of gasoline decreased by about 680-750 VND/liter, and oil decreased by 155-480 VND/liter or kg depending on the type.
During the operating period of March 13, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance decided not to set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for all petroleum products.
Accordingly, E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by VND680/liter to VND19,281/liter, RON 95 III gasoline - a popular type on the market - decreased to a new price of VND19,649/liter after decreasing by VND753/liter compared to the current base price.
Prices of diesel, kerosene, and fuel oil also decreased by VND435, VND483, and VND155, respectively, to the new prices of VND17,898/liter, VND18,090/liter, and VND16,995/kg.
RON 95 III gasoline - a popular type on the market - has a new price of VND 19,649/liter after decreasing by VND 753/liter compared to the current base price from 3:00 p.m. on March 13, 2025.
This is the third consecutive time that gasoline prices have been adjusted down. In the most recent adjustment, on March 6, E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by nearly 700 VND/liter to 19,961 VND/liter, and RON 95 III gasoline decreased by 710 VND to a new price of 20,402 VND/liter.
Currently, the price of this fuel has reached its lowest level in nearly 4 years, equivalent to June 2021. Since the beginning of the year, RON 95 gasoline has increased 5 times and decreased 6 times. Diesel oil has increased 5 times and decreased 6 times.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade said that the world oil market from March 6 to 12, 2025 was affected by major factors such as: increased oil production from OPEC+ countries, instability in US tax policies on goods from other countries, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues despite steps to find a solution for peace... These factors have caused world oil prices to fluctuate up and down depending on each commodity in recent days, but the general trend is downward.
