(GLO)- On the morning of July 29, the Gia Lai Provincial Journalists Association opened a journalism training course on "SEO skills for Electronic Newspapers and making television works using mobile phones".

Attending the opening ceremony of the training course were Mr. Vo Hoang Binh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Huynh Kien - Editor-in-Chief of Gia Lai Newspaper, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association; Tran Quoc Anh - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association; representatives of the Department of Information and Communications and nearly 70 trainees who are members, reporters, editors, technicians, and leaders of professional departments of central and local press and media agencies in the province.

During the 2 days (July 29 and 30), students will listen to journalist, Master Nguyen Cao Cuong - Part-time lecturer of the Center for Journalism Training (Vietnam Journalists Association) convey 2 main contents: SEO skills for Electronic Newspapers (What is SEO; goals of SEO; why is SEO needed; SEO on social networks, SEO on YouTube, SEO on Facebook...); skills to produce television works using mobile phones with topics, layouts, narration...

The training course aims to equip reporters, journalists, and members of local press and media agencies with journalistic skills and expertise, and to address the difficulties and concerns that journalists encounter in the process of introducing articles and television works to the public.

Speaking at the training course, Journalist Huynh Kien hoped that the trainees would study seriously, grasp knowledge and skills fully so that they can apply them to their actual work, meet the requirements and tasks and be in line with the trend of digital transformation of journalism in the era of technology 4.0. Journalist Huynh Kien requested that in August, each reporter and editor of Gia Lai Newspaper apply the knowledge they have learned to their actual work and have specific quality works published.
