FPT Software wins Job Creation award at ESG Business Awards 2024

FPT Software currently has a global workforce of more than 30,000 employees, present in 30 countries and territories. In 2023, FPT Software recruited more than 12,000 new employees, maintaining a growth rate of about 25% per year. This steady growth contributes significantly to FPT Corporation's goal of recruiting one million IT professionals by 2035.

In its journey to expand its global market and customer network as well as improve its technological capabilities, FPT Software has continuously created high-quality job opportunities, enabling employees to participate in complex projects with the world's leading enterprises, especially in high-demand fields such as automobiles, cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI) and semiconductors. As a result, many international job opportunities have been opened to Vietnamese personnel, with more than 3,000 employees currently working at foreign branches.

In addition, the company also promotes international talent recruitment, with 3,500 employees from 75 nationalities. At FPT Software offices around the world, local employees account for an average of 13% of the workforce, with 85% of local employees in European offices and 64% and 30% in the Americas and Japan, respectively.

The ESG Business Awards 2024 recognize FPT Software’s efforts to promote diversity and inclusion. The company promotes gender equality in its global offices, with women accounting for 39.6% of its workforce and 33% of its management positions.

FPT Software’s commitment to improving the quality of its human resources is also demonstrated through its efforts to promote a learning culture for all employees. On average, each employee completes 31.7 hours of professional training each year, through the company’s cooperation with leading learning platforms such as Mila, Udacity, Coursera, Udemy, and the British Council.

The company recently announced an investment of VND125 billion to promote learning and career development opportunities for more than 3,000 Japanese-speaking IT professionals. Starting with cooperation with 15 universities and expected to expand nationwide, the investment package demonstrates FPT Software’s commitment to building a high-quality workforce to meet the growing needs of the IT industry.

The ESG Business Awards 2024, an international sustainability award, honors Asian businesses that have made outstanding contributions and achievements in implementing environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards, driving positive change and building a sustainable future in the Asian region. This year, the program received nominations from more than 100 leading companies in Asia. The award's judging panel includes experts and leaders from leading consulting firms, including KPMG, PwC, Ernst & Young and Boston Consulting Group.

Previously, FPT Software has received many prestigious awards, including the "Great Place to Work" certification from the Great Place to Work® Institute in the Asia-Pacific region, Japan, the United States, Vietnam, Germany and the Philippines. Most recently, the company won the Bronze award for Employer of the Year at the Stevie® Awards for Great Employers 2024.
