In Bac Ninh province, there will be Hanoi Medical University, Bac Ninh campus, Hanoi University of Pharmacy, Bac Ninh campus, Campus 2 of Hanoi Law University, and Campus 2 of Foreign Trade University.

In Hung Yen province, Campus 2 of the University of Technology is expected to become a leading university in Asia, with modern facilities and technical infrastructure on par with the region.
