FPT promotes investment in education in Hue

(Dan Tri) - Within the framework of activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of Thua Thien Hue Liberation Day, on March 26, FPT held a topping-out ceremony for an educational complex with a capacity of 20,000 students.

The event demonstrates FPT's commitment to developing high-quality education to serve a wide range of learners.

Hue is the 9th city in the Central Highlands region with the presence of the FPT education system, and is the first locality in the region where FPT has implemented a multi-level education complex model: general education and vocational education.

FPT Education Complex in Hue is a key project, marking an important step forward in FPT's strategy to develop a high-quality educational ecosystem in the Central Highlands region.

FPT’s choice of Hue as the location to invest in a large-scale educational complex demonstrates its strategic vision in developing education in conjunction with local economic growth. In the context of Hue becoming a centrally-governed city from January 1, the project is even more important, contributing to promoting the comprehensive development of the city, in which education is identified as one of the key pillars.

Perspective of FPT Hue education complex.

With a total area of ​​8.68 hectares, the FPT education complex in Hue includes schools from general education (Primary, Secondary, High School) to vocational education (FPT College, FPT PolySchool), meeting the diverse learning needs of the people. The complex is designed according to a modern model, focusing on comprehensive development of both knowledge and skills for students. The training program focuses on cutting-edge technology fields such as STEM, AI and Robotics, aiming to equip Hue's young generation with a solid foundation to integrate into the digital economy.

The project is located in the new urban area of ​​An Van Duong, Thuy Thanh commune, Huong Thuy town, designed with lecture halls, multi-purpose service buildings, sports training and competition areas, football fields, outdoor landscapes and many other auxiliary items.

The overall architectural design with 5 lecture hall blocks like 5 blooming flower petals is inspired by the symbol of Hue's apricot blossom, both inheriting traditional cultural values ​​and developing in a modern and environmentally friendly direction.

The topping-out ceremony was held at Epsilon lecture hall, one of the five main buildings of the FPT education complex, an important event marking the completion stage, aiming to put the project into operation in 2025.

Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, FPT General Director emphasized: "FPT Education Complex in Hue is a strong commitment of FPT in improving the quality of education and developing high-quality digital human resources in the Central region. We believe that the combination of education and technology will be an important driving force for the sustainable development of the locality".

Mr. Le Truong Tung, Chairman of the Board of FPT University affirmed that, in addition to building a high-quality education system, the unit also accompanies Hue in developing digital human resources, meeting the needs of digital transformation and international integration.

He emphasized that from primary school level, FPT has pioneered the introduction of AI, STEM and Robotics into the training program, helping students to access technology early and improve their ability to adapt to the rapid changes of the digital age. Along with being equipped with a modern knowledge base, FPT students are also trained in life skills and rich school experiences, creating a solid foundation for the future.

In 2025, the FPT education complex in Hue plans to enroll students from primary, secondary to high school (FPT Schools); vocational education with FPT College and FPT PolySchool. With a scale to meet the learning needs of 20,000 students and create about 600 jobs for local workers, the FPT education complex in Hue not only contributes to promoting the development of education and training and high-quality digital economic human resources of the city but also creates an important driving force for the socio-economic development of the entire Central Highlands region.
