Approving bidding information for Van Phong - Nha Trang rest stop worth 225 billion VND
The investment project for the construction of the Km334+900 rest stop under the Van Phong - Nha Trang component project on the North - South expressway in the East will be built in Ninh Binh commune, Ninh Hoa district, Khanh Hoa province.

The Director of the Vietnam Expressway Administration has just signed a decision approving information on the investment project for the Km334+900 rest stop project under the Van Phong - Nha Trang component project on the North - South expressway, Eastern section.
This is the basic information for the organization to select investors to build the Van Phong - Nha Trang rest stop, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
Accordingly, the investment project to operate the Km334+900 rest stop under the Van Phong - Nha Trang component project has a scale of about 8 hectares with the current land use status being hilly land, and site clearance has not been carried out.
The station on the right side of the route has a total area of 42,540m2; the station on the left side of the route has a total area of 35,960m2. The rest stop is located on both sides of the route at Km334+900, in Ninh Binh commune, Ninh Hoa district, Khanh Hoa province.
The project has 3 types of items to serve the resting needs of traffic participants.
Specifically, public service facilities (providing free services) include: Parking lots; rest areas; temporary rest rooms for drivers; toilets; information centers; places to organize and launch traffic safety propaganda; and places for rescue workers and first aid for traffic accidents.
Commercial service facilities include: Food and beverage service area; product display and sales area; fuel station; electric vehicle charging station; vehicle maintenance and repair workshop; car wash; restaurant; entertainment area; children's play area; auxiliary facilities; other essential services to meet people's needs.
Auxiliary works include: Local or rest stop symbols; places for production and processing of local specialties; places for community activities (organizing fairs, cultural activities); and auxiliary works in the investment incentive category.
The Project investment capital includes the preliminary total cost of project implementation and compensation, support and resettlement costs of VND 225,143 billion, of which the preliminary total cost of project implementation is VND 193,87 billion; compensation, support and resettlement costs are VND 31,273 billion.
The Project investment capital is 100% of the investor's capital; the capital mobilization plan includes equity capital and mobilization of other legal capital sources to implement the Project in accordance with the law on investment.
The overall progress of the Project is expected to be 12 months, of which the completion time for public service works is expected to be 8 months, determined from the effective date of the contract between the competent authority and the investor. The exploitation period after completing the investment work is 25 years and 10 months.
The Project Inviting Party is Project Management Board 7 (Ministry of Transport); the form and method of selecting investors is domestic open bidding, one stage, one dossier. The time to start organizing investor selection is the second quarter of 2024.
The Van Phong - Nha Trang section of the North - South Expressway Construction Project, Eastern Phase 2021-2025, is 52.5km long, starting at the southern approach road of Co Ma tunnel in Van Ninh district, Khanh Hoa province; ending at Ninh Hoa town, Khanh Hoa province. The project is expected to be put into operation at the end of 2025.
