Opening of lawyer training class in Thanh Hoa

Delegates attended the opening ceremony of the 27th lawyer training course in 2025 in Thanh Hoa.

Attending the opening ceremony were Ms. Dang Thi Kim Hoa, Deputy Director of the Department of Judicial Support, Ministry of Justice; Distinguished Teacher, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thu, Party Secretary, Director of the Judicial Academy; representatives of a number of provincial departments, agencies and branches; lawyers from the Provincial Bar Association and a large number of students participating in the course.

The 27th lawyer training course in 2025 in Thanh Hoa has 56 students. The students enrolled have graduated with a bachelor's degree in law or a master's degree in law from universities such as Hanoi Law University, Hanoi Open University, Law University - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Law University - Hue University, Vinh University... The class gathers students of different ages, the oldest born in 1974 and the youngest born in 2002.

The 27th lawyer training course will take place every Saturday and Sunday at Hong Duc University. During the 12-month study period, the training class will follow the lawyer training program according to the credit system.

With this training program, students must accumulate a total of 36 credits, of which the compulsory knowledge block is 26 credits, corresponding to 7 subjects, 1 internship course is 4 credits; the elective knowledge block is 6 credits, corresponding to 2 subjects.

The lawyer training program equips students with professional ethics, basic and specialized knowledge and skills of lawyers in the fields of consulting, litigation and performing other legal services.

The content of the credit-based training program requires students to be more active and proactive in learning, researching and practicing professional skills. In particular, students will have access to real-life case files, helping to improve their ability to analyze and solve problems.

The Judicial Academy will also apply many different teaching methods, in which active presentation, case study, situation, role playing... are the methods that will be mainly applied throughout the teaching process of the course.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Distinguished Teacher, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thu, Party Secretary and Director of the Judicial Academy, outlined some highlights of the Judicial Academy's activities in recent times.

He emphasized: With a long tradition of building and developing, the Judicial Academy is one of the schools that students can be proud of on their path of learning and practicing. The teaching staff for the course are regular lecturers of the Judicial Academy and the guest lecturers are prestigious lawyers and experts with extensive practical experience in specialized fields of criminal, civil, and consulting. This is an opportunity for students to exploit and learn knowledge, experience, and professional skills in practicing law.

The Director of the Judicial Academy requested that the trainees participating in the training course uphold their sense of responsibility, learning awareness, strictly comply with the rules and regulations; uphold the spirit of solidarity among trainees, exchange, and maximize the knowledge imparted during the study period so that upon graduation, they will be steadfast in their professional path, contributing to the development of the team of lawyers in Thanh Hoa province, meeting the requirements of judicial reform and international integration, making worthy contributions to the overall development of the province.
