On the afternoon of January 26, Mr. Vo Ngoc Hiep, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, signed a document to the Department of Planning and Investment and the People's Committee of Da Lat City, requesting to stop the project to expand Tran Quoc Toan Street (Da Lat), related to 3.5 hectares of Doi Cu land.
If Tran Quoc Toan street is expanded, the purpose of 3.5 hectares of Cu Hill land must be changed.
This is a project that has been approved by the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council in accordance with Resolution No. 215/NQ-HDND dated October 27, 2023. Now, the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee requests to stop implementing the project to expand Tran Quoc Toan Street (from the Tran Nhan Tong - Tran Quoc Toan intersection to the Dinh Tien Hoang - Tran Quoc Toan intersection) in Da Lat City.
The reason for the suspension is because the investment and construction in this area is currently being reviewed. The People's Committee of Da Lat City is requested to suspend the implementation of project approval procedures and other contents related to the Tran Quoc Toan Street expansion project until there is a consensus from the competent authority.
Currently, Lam Dong province is reviewing construction investment in the Cu Hill area.
Regarding this project, as Thanh Nien reported, Hoang Gia DL Joint Stock Company requested to change the land use purpose of nearly 3.5 hectares so that the enterprise can build the road itself. After completion and acceptance, the company will hand it over to Da Lat City. At the same time, this company proposed to build two blocks of 7 basements/block for parking and was rejected by Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee in April 2023.
Regarding the golf club building in Cu Hill that was built illegally and without permission, on January 24, Mr. Vo Ngoc Hiep, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, issued Document No. 751/UBND-XD requesting the Department of Construction to seriously review and clarify the responsibility for the delay in implementing the inspection work at the golf club building in Cu Hill according to the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, and report to the Provincial People's Committee before February 5, 2024.
The golf club building in Cu Hill was built illegally and without permission but has not been dismantled yet.
Lam Dong provincial leaders assigned the People's Committee of Da Lat City to continue to urge and request the investor Hoang Gia DL Joint Stock Company to strictly comply with the penalty decisions of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Inspectorate and the People's Committee of Da Lat City.
Previously, in April 2023, the People's Committee of Da Lat City inspected, made a record and requested the investor to stop construction because of many construction violations. However, this unit continued to construct until Mr. Tran Van Hiep, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, was prosecuted and arrested by the Ministry of Public Security, then agreed to stop construction at the request of the People's Committee of Da Lat City.
Dismantling of ancillary works in Cu Hill
As previously reported, on January 11, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee issued Document No. 334/UBND-XD on urgently and strictly handling violations at the construction site of the golf club building in Cu Da Lat Hill. Accordingly, the investor, Hoang Gia DL Joint Stock Company, is required to voluntarily dismantle the construction items that were illegally constructed and illegally constructed at the golf club building in Cu Da Lat Hill before January 25.
After the above deadline, if the investor does not comply, the organization will mobilize forces and machinery to enforce and dismantle illegal constructions (illegal, unlicensed) according to regulations; to be completed before February 15.
The gate to Cu Hill is locked.
In fact, up to today, January 26, the investor has not yet dismantled the illegal construction items of the golf club building, and the gates to Cu Hill are all locked.
