Gold price forecast for God of Wealth Day 2025: Despite the price of gold bars and rings continuously setting new peaks, people's demand for buying is still very high.

In early February, domestic gold prices continued to rise, continuously setting new peaks. Especially, as the God of Wealth Day (January 10) approached, people's demand for gold for luck skyrocketed.
At the end of the trading session on February 6, the gold prices of some brands were listed as follows:
The price of SJC gold is listed by Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) at 87.7 million VND/tael and sold at 90.7 million VND/tael. Bao Tin Manh Hai Company is currently listing the buying/selling price of gold bars at 87.5 million VND/tael and 90.65 million VND/tael. Compared to yesterday (February 5), the buying/selling price of gold bars at SJC Company has been adjusted down by 300,000 VND/tael.
Bao Tin Minh Chau Company is currently listing the buying/selling price of gold bars at VND87.8 million/tael and VND90.65 million/tael. Compared to the listed price at SJC, the buying price of gold bars at Bao Tin Minh Chau is VND100,000/tael higher, but the selling price is about VND50,000/tael lower. Thus, the difference in the buying and selling price of SJC gold bars on the market is generally still fluctuating within the range of VND2.5 - 3 million/tael.
At Phu Quy Group, SJC gold bars had a sharper decrease in buying price of 400,000 VND/tael and 500,000 VND/tael in selling price, trading in the range of 87.3 - 90.5 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
Mi Hong Company - a large gold enterprise in Ho Chi Minh City - is still listing the buying and selling price of gold bars at 88.2 - 89.2 million VND/tael.
Vietinbank, BIDV and Vietcombank listed the selling price of gold bars at 91.2 million VND/tael, an increase of 200,000 VND/tael compared to yesterday.

The price of gold rings on the market closely follows the price of gold bars. Specifically, Bao Tin Minh Chau and Bao Tin Manh Hai listed gold rings at 87.4 - 90.65 million VND/tael (buy - sell). DOJI has a price of 87.5 - 90.7 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
Saigon Jewelry has a price for gold rings at 87.7 - 90.3 million VND/tael (buy - sell). Meanwhile, at Phu Quy, gold rings are priced at 87.3 - 90 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

Gold price forecast tomorrow 02/07/2025
In the trading session on February 6, the price of spot gold increased by 0.1% to 2,868.94 USD/ounce, down slightly after reaching an all-time high of 2,882.16 USD/ounce in the previous session.
US gold futures fell 0.2% to $2,887.90.
Fed officials point to the huge policy uncertainty surrounding tariffs and issues arising from Mr. Trump as the top challenge in finding a direction for U.S. monetary policy in the near future.
Gold is seen as a safe investment during times of economic and geopolitical uncertainty, but higher interest rates reduce the appeal of non-yielding assets.
In the early days of 2025, domestic and international gold prices witnessed a sharp increase, reaching a record high. Many factors contributed to this increase, from the global economic situation to the monetary policies of countries.
The global gold market has not cooled down and has continued to reach new peaks, surpassing the record of 2,790 USD/ounce set last year. Trade tensions and tariffs have pushed gold prices to new record highs.
Spot silver fell 0.2% to $32.25 an ounce, while platinum rose 0.6% to $985.49 and palladium rose 0.4% to $993.34.
In the fuel market, Brent crude futures rose 8 cents to $74.69 a barrel. WTI crude rose 15 cents to $71.18 a barrel.
Oil prices were also affected as investors weighed a new round of US-China trade tariffs, including duties on energy products.
