Russia cuts off Ukraine's logistics line; Russia forces Ukrainian troops to surrender or retreat,... are notable news in the Russia-Ukraine war news bulletin on the evening of March 10.
Ukrainian troops must choose to surrender or retreat from Kursk.
Updating the situation of the Russia-Ukraine war, on March 10, a Russian military blogger named Two Majors said that Russian forces had crossed the Ivashkovsky area and Russian units were advancing towards the area considered the "cauldron" in Kursk province from at least 7 directions.
Yuri Podolyaka, a pro-Russian military blogger, admitted having difficulty keeping up with events because the Russian advance was so rapid and Ukrainian units were trapped in some areas of Kursk.

Earlier, Russian forces regained control of three more bases in Kursk, after special forces moved across a gas pipeline near the town of Sudzha in a surprise attack on Ukrainian forces.
In recent days, the Russian military has intensified attacks in Kursk, posing a serious threat to Ukrainian units concentrated near the town of Sudzha.
As it moved south and northwest of Sudzha, Russian troops closed in on a key logistical artery for Ukrainian forces – the P200 highway connecting Sudzha with the Yunakovka region in Ukraine's Sumy Oblast.
The road remains the only supply route for the Ukrainian army, but according to military sources, it has come under fire control from Russian reconnaissance and attack drones.
According to the military news site Avia Pro, military reporters in the war zone reported that the Russian military has taken control of an industrial zone on the outskirts of Sudzha in Kursk Oblast. Attacks on Sudzha are being carried out simultaneously from several directions, indicating a large-scale operation to push the Ukrainian army out of the area.
On the morning of March 9, Russian units completed clearing the Cherkasskoye Porechnoye and Kositsa areas, located near Sudzha. According to the Russian military, dozens of Ukrainian servicemen surrendered in Cherkasskoye Porechnoye.
Russia captures a Ukrainian Abrams tank
Recently, the Russian Ministry of Defense released a video showing Russian soldiers pulling a completely intact Ukrainian Abrams tank in the Kursk region. According to the video, the captured tank was transported through a large field with no residential areas. The battlefield situation in this area is currently developing in a direction that is not favorable to the Ukrainian side.

The US has previously delivered a total of 31 M1A1SA Abrams tanks to Ukraine, enough to equip an armored battalion. Ukraine has said that the US tank, which costs $10 million, will be an important weapon to help them break through enemy lines.
However, this tank force has suffered many losses despite only limited deployment, not participating in coordinated raids as NATO's military doctrine. According to a summary report by Oryx, a war information analysis site based in the Netherlands, at least 16 Ukrainian Abrams tanks have been destroyed since the start of the fighting in late February.
This also means that the Ukrainian army has lost half of the total number of Abrams tanks that the US provided, not to mention those that are grounded due to breakdowns or damage in combat.
Russian missile destroys rare Ukrainian supply vehicle
According to RT, footage captured by a Russian military drone (UAV) shows a Ukrainian supply vehicle moving into a shelter hidden in a row of trees between two fields. The Russian military noted that this location is near the village of Novonikolayevka, about 26km east of the Ukrainian city of Nikolayev.
Immediately after detecting the enemy supply vehicle, a ballistic missile launched from a Russian Iskander-M system targeted the vehicle. The video appears to show that the missile carrying a high-explosive warhead hit the bunker, killing 10 Ukrainian soldiers.
The destroyed supply vehicle appears to be a rare US-made medium tactical vehicle. In the video, it has an armored cabin and a special folding cargo crane at the back.
Kiev has been receiving the M142 HIMARS artillery system and its variant, the M270 MLRS, as well as HIMARS derivative systems since mid-2022.
