In the 2024 crop season, Dong Hung district strives to cultivate 11,044 hectares, of which high-quality rice accounts for 35% or more of the area, with a yield of 61 quintals/ha or more. The district strives to complete 100% of the area by July 20, 2024. In addition, the district continues to expand the area and improve the production efficiency of summer crops with an area of 1,600 hectares or more, winter crops with an area of 5,058 hectares or more, including key crops such as corn, potatoes, sweet potatoes, melons, squash, chili, kohlrabi, cabbage and other vegetables.

To achieve the above goals, Dong Hung district directs relevant units and communes to focus on promoting propaganda and seriously implementing the production project; mobilizing and encouraging organizations and individuals to change the crop structure on ineffective rice-growing land, accumulating agricultural land on a large scale associated with product consumption contracts and building production area codes.
