Accordingly, on March 17, Mr. Aldo Allexiuse Lam (Indonesian nationality) and his relatives entered Vietnam for tourism through Tan Son Nhat International Airport. At the airport, he forgot his iPhone 16 in the restroom.
After confirming that the phone was no longer in the restroom, with the guidance of airport staff, Mr. Aldo Allexiuse Lam went to Tan Son Nhat Airport Police Station to report.
The police station command inspected, verified and assigned Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Cong Trong and Major Phan Van Thanh to directly handle the case.
Urgently clarifying, officers of the Tan Son Nhat International Airport Border Police Station determined that the phone was being kept in Bau Ham 2 Commune, Thong Nhat District, Dong Nai. The unit coordinated with the police in Dong Nai Province, inviting and persuading the person who picked up and kept the phone to hand it over to the tourist.
On March 19, at the Tan Son Nhat International Airport Police Station, police officers returned the phone to Mr. Aldo Allexiuse Lam. Happy to receive the phone back, he was extremely grateful because he had previously thought that in a crowded place like the airport, with tens of thousands of people coming and going every day, it would be very difficult to find the phone, but thanks to the enthusiasm and positivity of the police officers, he was able to find it.
Touched by the enthusiasm of the police officers and soldiers, Mr. Aldo Allexiuse Lam wrote a thank you letter back.
