Focus on social values and welfare
Industry 5.0 will not only include manufacturing but also build on the achievements of Industry 4.0 with the strong development of artificial intelligence, automation, big data analysis, internet of things, robots and smart systems, virtualization.
Industry 5.0 is expected to increase human well-being and the role of humans at the center of the production process and use new technology to bring more prosperity values beyond employment; promoting growth while respecting the limits of production. This is a major shift, from focusing on economic values to a broader concept of social value and well-being.
Previously, this was called and understood as corporate social responsibility, but now it covers all organizations and business strategies of the business community to create a broader perspective than 4.0 technology.
Mr. Hoang Quang Phong, Vice President of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) said: Technology 5.0 will continue and focus on the cooperation between humans and machines. This contributes to improving workers' skills, providing added value in production leading to customization and personalization of goods.
Promote production of goods
In addition, the emergence of 5.0 technology has contributed to promoting the development of goods production more strongly and harmoniously. The application of scientific and technological achievements and innovation into production activities will require close connection between enterprises in the industry and scientific and technological organizations and enterprises. It is a process of simultaneously receiving feedback to continuously adjust and constantly improve green-circular-sustainable ecosystems. This trend is now gradually being applied by enterprises and people in many localities. From there, it brings a new look to many industries and economic sectors in Vietnam.
As one of the enterprises implementing 4.0 technology early, TH Group is affirming its quality, reputation and brand in the market along with welfare regimes and policies to help improve the lives of workers.
Mr. Ngo Minh Hai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TH Group, said that in the field of agriculture and dairy production, if smart agriculture 4.0 is an automatic control system, digital transformation, application of modern technology devices such as sensors, use of big data, artificial intelligence (AI) and internet of things (IoT) to optimize production and management processes, then smart agriculture 5.0 will be a step further.
That is quantum computing, a combination of full automation and biotechnology, more flexible and capable of integrating more advanced technologies. Smart agriculture 5.0 also focuses more on the interaction between humans and machines, and aims to produce according to consumer demands. The future of agriculture will be smart agriculture 5.0 and there will be a perfect resonance of two factors: technology and people.
In industrial production, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son, representative of Automech Mechanical Equipment and Solutions Joint Stock Company, said that technology 5.0 has started with AI support systems, taking over repetitive tasks and allowing people to focus on tasks, adding value and being more efficient. Technology 5.0 is still in its early stages and many businesses are still focusing on technology 4.0, but this will change as businesses adjust themselves to the goals of technology 5.0.
Given current needs and realities, 5.0 technology will be a new experience with many opportunities and challenges for businesses. However, to develop, the Vietnamese economy cannot stand outside the trend but requires adaptation, appropriate adjustment and looking towards the future.
