Dak Nong expects to complete the repair of the landslide on National Highway 14 by June 2026.

On the afternoon of December 10, at the 9th Session of the 4th Dak Nong Provincial People's Council, the leader of the provincial Department of Transport said that the investor of National Highway 14 has a specific roadmap to overcome the landslide incident.

Leaders of the Department of Transport of Dak Nong province informed about the progress of troubleshooting on National Highway 14, through Gia Nghia City.

Specifically, on the morning of August 5, 2023, at Km 1900+300 to Km 1900+650, the section passing through Nghia Thanh ward, Gia Nghia city, long cracks appeared.

After more than a year, the crack has widened, becoming a large-scale landslide, affecting traffic and people's lives.

At the end of August 2023, the investor, BOT and BT Duc Long Dak Nong Joint Stock Company (BOT Duc Long), invited a consulting unit to survey, evaluate, determine the cause, and propose a stable and long-term solution.

The landslide incident on National Highway 14 occurred in August 2023, affecting people's traffic.

The provincial Department of Transport said that in February 2025, the investor will complete the registration of the financial plan and approve the feasibility study report; in May 2025, the approval of the construction drawing design and estimate will be completed; and in June 2025, the selection of the construction contractor will be completed.

Dak Nong Province Department of Transport is coordinating with the investor to complete necessary procedures, in order to start construction in July 2025.

It is expected that the problem will be fixed and the route will be put into use in June 2026.
