Effectively carry out mass mobilization work in religious areas

Religious masses have their own characteristics, so in the work of mobilizing religious dignitaries and followers, it requires party committees at all levels, authorities, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and cadres directly involved in religious work to be sincere, substantial, committed and responsible for their work.

Thoroughly grasping the Party's viewpoints and policies on religious work, in recent times, local Party committees in the province have focused on doing a good job of mobilizing and enlisting religious dignitaries, promoting the role of religious dignitaries to mobilize followers to participate in patriotic emulation movements, social, charitable and humanitarian activities. Thereby, many typical dignitaries have emerged, making positive contributions to society, connecting the community, and building the great national unity bloc.

Up to now, the Provincial Party Standing Committee has approved 15 special core members in religion in 7/10 districts and cities; 4/10 districts and cities have approved special core members at the district level. The province also focuses on consolidating and perfecting agencies and departments to assist in state management of beliefs and religions. Propagating, disseminating, training, and fostering professional skills in belief and religion work. Strengthening inspection, examination, and directing the settlement of requests, proposals, and legitimate needs of religious organizations and individuals in accordance with legal regulations. Such as resolving the proposal of the Hanoi Archdiocese on the establishment of Muong Don Parish in Van Nghia Commune, Lac Son District; the proposal of the Hung Hoa Bishopric on the establishment of Bien Duc Thien Yen Monastery in My Hamlet, Yen Mong Commune, Hoa Binh City.

Party committees, authorities at all levels, departments, branches and sectors have stepped up information, propaganda, combat, prevent and strictly handle religious activities that violate the law, heretical religions and strange religions that cause insecurity and disorder in localities and establishments. Recently, the Provincial People's Committee has approved the establishment of 1 affiliated religious organization, merged 2 affiliated religious organizations; directed to help the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha at all levels in the province successfully organize the Congress of Buddhist delegates according to regulations. Specifically, approved the establishment of Di Dan Parish, Yen Thuy District under the Diocese of Phat Diem; merged the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Ky Son District and the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Hoa Binh City. Granted 3 permits for the construction of religious works, including permits for the construction of religious works for Doi Ca Parish, Muong Cat Parish, Van Nghia Commune, Lac Son District; Phuc Luong parish, Ngoc Luong commune, Yen Thuy district... Change the purpose and hand over 2,446 m2 of religious land to Muong Cat parish to build a rectory, catechism school, and auxiliary works in Moi Nang hamlet, Van Nghia commune, Lac Son district. Resolve 16 cases of dignitaries, officials, and monks related to ordination, conferment of titles, and transfer of operating areas.

Comrade Vo Ngoc Kien, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, said: Currently, the province continues to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of religion, implementing the Law on Belief and Religion and documents guiding the implementation of the law. Strengthening information, propaganda, and guidance for religious dignitaries, officials, and followers to correctly and fully understand and voluntarily comply with the Party's guidelines, policies, and laws of the State on religion and religious work. Creating conditions for religions to operate normally in accordance with the law, charters, and regulations of religious organizations recognized by the State. Resolutely combat, prevent, and strictly handle violations related to beliefs and religions according to the law.

Strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation of the Party's viewpoints and policies on religious work. Improve the quality of activities of the grassroots political system, Steering Committees for Religious Work at all levels, ensuring the leadership role of Party committees and Party organizations in areas with a large number of religious followers. Innovate and improve the effectiveness of mobilization work for religious followers; focus on attracting religious people to participate in socio-political organizations. At the same time, pay attention to developing Party members who are religious, associated with the work of building and effectively promoting the role of core forces in religion. Proactively grasp the situation, direct timely and decisive resolution of issues related to religion, not allowing new hot spots and complications to arise.
