Dien Bien TV - On the evening of March 12, the People's Committee of Dien Bien Phu City organized a Cultural and Artistic Exchange program and activities in response to the 2025 Ban Flower Festival. The program included many activities such as: street parade, art exchange, organizing booths to introduce the traditional culture of the Northwest ethnic groups.
Attending the program were comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrade Pham Duc Toan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

The program opened with a street parade along Route 7-5. The event was organized methodically and on a grand scale with the participation of more than 2,000 students and more than 300 teachers from schools in Dien Bien Phu city.
Following the program, a cultural and artistic exchange with the theme “Spring Festival - Ban Flowers in Bloom” was held at Vo Thi Sau Park, Noong Bua Ward, Dien Bien Phu City. The exchange night included drum performances, dances, and songs praising the homeland, country, and people of Dien Bien, performances of Khum and Ban costumes, and “Hoa Ban” baby performed by primary and secondary school students in the city; and ao dai performances by female teachers from the Department of Education and Training of Dien Bien Phu City.

Mr. Dao Hoai Nam, Permanent Vice Chairman of Dien Bien Phu City People's Committee, said: "Through this event, along with other activities of the province, is an opportunity to promote the image of Dien Bien, attract tourism; to let domestic and international tourists know about the old Dien Bien, a land of war, of bombs and bullets, but now revived, bearing fruit, with brilliant white flowers blooming."

In addition to the unique and attractive performances in the cultural and artistic exchange night, the booths introducing the traditional culture of the Northwest ethnic groups and OCOP products were also visited and shopped by many people and tourists. This activity will continue to be held until March 16./.
