On June 12, Nho Quan District Labor Federation held the 11th District Trade Union Congress, term 2023 - 2028.
During the past term, Nho Quan district trade unions at all levels focused on innovating direction, management and implementation, completing 13/13 targets of the Resolution of the 10th District Trade Union Congress.
Notably: Actively participated in managing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members, civil servants and employees. Organized many practical activities to care for the interests of union members. In particular, trade unions at all levels closely coordinated with relevant agencies to resolve labor disputes occurring at a number of enterprises, ensuring the rights of workers, contributing to stabilizing production with enterprises and maintaining security and order in the district. Actively coordinated with professionals to build and implement grassroots democracy regulations.
During the term, the District Labor Federation signed 4 new agreements on the "Union Welfare" program, with 9,092 union members and workers in difficult circumstances benefiting with a total amount of 1,041 million VND. In addition, trade unions at all levels visited and supported 3,161 union members, workers and civil servants in difficult circumstances, occupational accidents, and diseases with a total amount of 1,636 million VND. Mobilized support to build and repair 8 "Union Shelters" for union members who are workers in especially difficult circumstances...
Along with that, innovating propaganda work, fostering professional skills, mass mobilization skills for trade union officials; trade union activities towards the grassroots, enhancing the application of information technology... Thereby, contributing to affirming the prestige and position of the Trade Union organization, making an important contribution to the results of implementing resolutions of party congresses at all levels, to the overall development of the district.
With the motto "Innovation - Democracy - Solidarity - Development", the 11th Congress of Nho Quan District Trade Union determined the directions, goals, tasks and key solutions for the 2023 - 2028 term as follows: Focus on innovating the content and methods of trade union activities in an effective and practical direction; well performing the functions and tasks of the trade union organization, in which the focus is on caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; continuing to innovate and be creative in propaganda, education, mobilization and implementation of patriotic emulation movements; mobilizing resources to organize activities towards the grassroots, taking the grassroots as the area of operation, taking union members as the object of mobilization and the target of operation; Gather and attract a large number of union members and workers, build a strong and comprehensive union organization with adaptability, contribute to building a team of workers and civil servants as a pioneer force in implementing the task of developing the district's socio-economic tasks.
Strive to recruit 300-500 new union members, establish grassroots unions in 90% of enterprises with 25 or more employees and attract 85% of workers in the management area to join the union. The district's Labor Federation is rated as having completed its tasks well or better; strive to have 90% of grassroots unions in the administrative and career sector, 70% of grassroots unions in the production and business sector be rated as having completed their tasks well. 100% of union officials at all levels are trained in union work. Mobilize resources to support the construction and repair of 1 to 2 "Union Shelters". Unions at all levels in the district organize care, visits, and support union members and workers in difficult circumstances with 500 or more gifts...
In the spirit of solidarity and democracy, the Congress elected 16 comrades to the Executive Committee of the Nho Quan District Trade Union for the 11th term, 2023 - 2028, and elected a delegation to attend the congress of the higher-level Trade Union.
