Active military-civilian medical cooperation activities

Speaking at the program, Colonel Nguyen Binh Minh, Deputy Chief of Politics, General Department II, said that in response to the movements "Army joins hands to build new rural areas", "Army joins hands for community health" and "Army joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind", in recent years, the unit has actively participated in many activities to build civil medical facilities, provide medical examinations, provide free medicine and give gifts to policy families, disadvantaged students, and excellent students in many localities across the country.

The unit's "military-civilian" activities have been highly appreciated by Party committees, authorities and people of localities across the country, leaving many deep and good impressions and feelings.

"The program helps improve the material and spiritual life of the people, from community health care to supporting the poor and showing gratitude to those who have contributed. At the same time, it actively strengthens the trust and connection between the army and the people, spreads the spirit of solidarity and builds a rich and beautiful homeland, contributes to maintaining political stability and national security, and resolutely fights against all divisive plots," Colonel Nguyen Binh Minh emphasized.

At the program, the General Department II delegation organized many meaningful activities, such as: visiting the Martyrs' Temple and burning incense for the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; providing free medical examination and medicine to 300 people from policy families, people with revolutionary contributions, and the elderly; propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, State policies and laws, the traditions of the Vietnam People's Army and policies on beliefs, religions, socio-economic development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction; providing guidance on health care methods and disease prevention...

In particular, to show gratitude, the General Department II delegation presented 300 gifts to families with meritorious services and 8 gifts to encourage poor students who overcome difficulties and study well.
