At the meeting, the representative of the Provincial People's Council Delegation announced the expected content and program of the 20th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council; reported a summary of the socio-economic, national defense and security situation of the province in the first 5 months of the year, estimated implementation in the first 6 months of 2024 and tasks and solutions to implement key tasks in the last 6 months of 2024. At the same time, reported the results of handling voters' opinions and recommendations sent to the 7th, 11th, 14th and 17th sessions of the 18th Provincial People's Council.

Voters of Quang Xuong district requested the company to exploit irrigation works, all levels and sectors to review and consider plans to renovate and upgrade the canal system to ensure proactive and effective production. Requested the People's Council delegates to recommend and propose to the People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, all levels and functional sectors to research, develop and issue policies to attract businesses to invest in the agricultural sector; propose support policies for localities to effectively implement the New Rural Development Program.
Delegate Nguyen Quoc Tien, Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of Quang Xuong District Party Committee, reported on the results of handling voters' opinions and recommendations sent to the 7th, 11th, 14th and 17th Sessions of the 18th Provincial People's Council.
Voters also mentioned difficulties and problems related to land use planning and plans that affect the socio-economic development tasks of the district; difficulties and shortcomings in granting land use rights to the people, especially historical backlogs under the authority of the province, ministries and central branches. Thereby, it is recommended that People's Council delegates give opinions to the Provincial People's Committee, relevant departments and branches to consider and resolve difficult and complicated cases.

Propose that the People's Council delegates recommend to the Provincial People's Committee to soon direct relevant departments, branches and sectors to appraise and approve the feasibility study report of the National Highway 1A bypass project, the eastern section from Hoang Hoa - Quang Xuong so that the district has a basis to adjust and propose adjustments to the planning, as a basis for adjusting projects and speeding up the implementation progress of related projects in the area.
Propose that the People's Council delegates give opinions and recommendations to provincial-level sectors, investors and developers to soon deploy and complete the coastal road, the section through Quang Xuong district, especially the Thach Chau bridge project, in order to soon promote investment efficiency, meeting the needs and aspirations of the people.
Voters also requested the province and district to synchronously implement solutions to develop Quang Xuong sea tourism industry quickly and sustainably, becoming an important economic sector in the economic structure of the province and district, not leaving land fallow and wasting resources.
