(Fatherland) - On the evening of November 7, at the Hanoi Opera House, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam coordinated with the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Vietnam to organize the art program "Song of Solidarity" by the Turetskiy Russian Choir to celebrate the National Unity Day of the Russian Federation (November 4) and the Day of Alumni Unification of Universities of the Soviet Union and Russia.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Vietnam Bezdetko Gennady said that the art program "Song of Solidarity" by the Turetskiy Russian Choir brought musical works that have long been familiar to many Vietnamese people, along with wonderful new musical works.
Through the performances, the audience will see the talent and artistic level of Russian artists as well as have the opportunity to access the rich, world-famous Russian culture.
Mr. Bezdetko Gennady expressed his belief that the performance will become a memorable event in the series of Russian-Vietnamese cultural exchange activities, promoting the consolidation and development of the long-standing traditional relationship, sincere friendship and effective cooperation between the people of the two countries.

Expressing his gratitude to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam and the Hanoi Opera House for supporting the preparation and organization of the performance, Ambassador Bezdetko Gennady expressed his hope that the two sides will continue to cooperate more closely in the future, not only in the cultural field but also contributing to further promoting the comprehensive strategic partnership between the Russian Federation and Vietnam.
Speaking at the Program, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong stated that, looking back at the journey of nearly 75 years of establishing diplomatic relations, 30 years of signing the Treaty on the basic principles of friendly relations between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Russian Federation, we are pleased to see that, along with the development of the friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries, cultural, sports and tourism cooperation between Vietnam and the Russian Federation is increasingly close, effective and has made remarkable progress, people-to-people exchange is increasingly strengthened, especially since the state visit to Vietnam on June 20, 2024 by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
"That is a priceless asset that the people of the two countries have built together, overcoming countless difficulties and challenges," Deputy Minister Hoang Dao Cuong expressed.

Deputy Minister Hoang Dao Cuong said that following the success of the Vietnamese Cultural Days in the Russian Federation taking place in Moscow and St. Petersburg in July 2024, chaired by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam Nguyen Van Hung and the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Liubimova, the art program of the Turetskiy Russian Choir organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam in coordination with the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Vietnam in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City this time is one of the meaningful cultural activities to celebrate the Russian National Unity Day, an opportunity for the Russian Federation to introduce to the Vietnamese public, audience as well as international friends in Vietnam the values of Russian culture and art.

Within the framework of the program, 25 top-notch artistic performances were performed, creating a colorful, rich and emotional musical feast. The choir combined with the powerful Soprano voice took the audience on a multi-layered musical journey, from profound moments to explosive, heroic moments.
Through the musical pieces Ave Maria, Delilah's aria from the opera Samson and Delilah, The Volga is flowing, Moscow Afternoon... the audience not only immersed themselves in the majestic space but also clearly felt the sophistication and virtuosity of the soaring Soprano voice. With each performance, the image of Russia appeared magnificent and poetic, with vast fields, majestic rivers and resilient, strong people.
The music has fully portrayed a Russia with strong artistic features, rich identity and national pride. Russia appears not only as a large country but also as a unique cultural symbol, a land of timeless values.
After each performance, the continuous applause was a clear demonstration of the audience's love for Russian culture, as well as the close friendship and special affection that the Vietnamese people have for the country, culture and art of Russia.
