Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia chaired the working session with key political press agencies.

At the same time, urgently, seriously and resolutely carry out the arrangement and streamlining of the organizational apparatus; strictly implement the policy of ending activities, transferring, receiving and supplementing functions and tasks between units to develop and complete the Project to submit to the Politburo and the Government to issue decisions and Decrees on the organizational apparatus and functions and tasks of each agency and unit.

The construction of the Project ensures progress and quality, meets the conditions and criteria of the Central and Government, and at the same time contributes to better implementing the information, propaganda and political tasks of each agency and unit in the coming time.

Along with that, in recent times, the work of informing and propagating the political tasks of the Party and the country, the main multimedia media agencies of the Party and the State continue to affirm their position, prestige and brand.

At the meeting, leaders of key political press agencies reported on the implementation of Resolution 18 and the conclusions of the Central Committee, Politburo, and Secretariat on streamlining the organizational apparatus and promoting the role of key press agencies in these agencies.

At the same time, report on some key tasks in information and propaganda work in the coming time.

At the meeting, press agencies discussed preparations and plans to implement activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
