Set in the West in the 1960s, Who Loves Who tells the story of tragic fates, where people must face the choice between love and family.

“When making this film, we not only wanted the audience to laugh like in previous films, but also wanted everyone to feel the love and affection of the Vietnamese people in the past. The West is a place we feel very close to and we want to tell this story as completely as possible,” actor Tien Luat added.

To prepare for the project, Thu Trang - Tien Luat announced a casting plan to find the 4 main characters. According to Thu Trang, she wants to find new faces, people who can truly live in the characters, so that the audience can see Ba ​​Thuong, Cho, Cong Tu Kha or Tham as if they came from the West in the 1960s.

In which, the character Ba Thuong is a girl aged 17-32, slim figure, gentle face, sad eyes, gentle personality, sentimental in love and does not dare to express her feelings.

Waiting, a guy around 20-40 years old, tall, dark skin, honest and gentle gestures, very loyal in love and always devoted to the person he loves.

The same age group of 20-40 is the character Cong Tu Kha, with a bright, handsome face, tall figure, attractive smile, playful personality, likes to win or lose, but not evil, just heartless and superficial.

And finally, the character Tham, about 20 years old, has a sharp, attractive appearance, a flirtatious smile, sharp eyes, an arrogant, coquettish personality, confident in her beauty and always relies on money.

The highlight of this casting round is the return of former announcer Khai Hoan – the legendary voice of the South. She rarely appears in entertainment programs, but because of her respect for Thu Trang and Tien Luat, she agreed to participate in this project.

It is known that in addition to the four main characters mentioned above, the crew also wants to find actors for other supporting roles.

Time to receive online casting applications from March 25 to April 13, before the live casting round takes place.

The film is expected to be produced and released in 2025.
