Diverse activities for Workers' Month 2025

Many practical activities are organized during Workers' Month.

Accordingly, workers will have the opportunity to participate in dialogues with leaders of Party committees, authorities and employers to reflect on issues of wages, insurance regimes and working conditions.

Programs to care for workers' lives will also be implemented, such as visiting, giving gifts, supporting workers in difficult circumstances, organizing recreational activities to improve their spiritual life. Workers with initiatives to improve techniques and increase labor productivity will be honored and encouraged to be creative at work.

In addition, the union will organize training courses to improve professional skills, helping workers adapt to modern technology and meet the requirements of the labor market.

Specifically, the program "Creative workers, confidently entering the new era" will organize propaganda activities, mobilize union members and workers to study, improve their professional skills; cultivate courage, innovate working style, improve integration skills;

Along with that, there will be a "Creative Labor Festival 2025", competitions to propose ideas, initiatives, technical solutions to innovate production processes; save raw materials, fuel, time, labor; new methods, good models in modern business management; content and methods of union activities at the grassroots level. Honor and commend workers with achievements in labor, production with many initiatives and creativity; achieve high results in competitions for skilled workers...

With the "May Dialogue" Program and the "Party with Workers - Workers with the Party" Forum, trade unions at all levels advise, propose, and coordinate to organize for leaders of Party committees, authorities at the same level and employers to contact and dialogue with union members and workers in accordance with actual conditions.

"Thank you to workers" program, in coordination with employers, organize activities to care for, support, and show gratitude to workers (visit, give gifts, give shopping vouchers; commend workers who have overcome difficulties, exemplary workers, workers with many years of experience, etc.). Advise leaders of Party committees, authorities, National Assembly deputies, People's Council deputies, and employers to visit, encourage, and give gifts to workers.

Workers' Month 2025 takes place on the occasion of many important events such as the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day; 139th anniversary of International Labor Day; 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.

The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor aims to have at least 55% of grassroots trade unions in enterprises and 35% of grassroots trade unions in administrative agencies and public service units respond to Workers' Month with practical activities.

In addition to taking care of workers’ lives, this year’s Workers’ Month also aims to develop more union members and introduce outstanding workers to be trained and admitted to the Party. The union will step up propaganda so that workers can better understand their rights when joining a union, while creating conditions for workers to develop themselves and have a stronger voice in the business and society.
