Announcing the Politburo's decision to approve the Secretary of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee

At the Conference, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Nguyen Thanh Tam announced the Politburo's Decision approving comrade Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term and appointing him to join the Party Committee of Military Region 7 for the 2020-2025 term.

Sending congratulations and expressing his confidence to comrade Nguyen Manh Hung as well as the Executive Committee of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee, comrade Nguyen Van Nen hopes that in the coming time, the collective of Tay Ninh province will continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, dynamism, creativity, daring to think, daring to do, mobilizing resources to contribute to building Tay Ninh to become more and more prosperous; focusing on efforts to well perform the political tasks set out by the Party Congress of the term and striving for economic growth as committed to the Central Government, achieving growth of 8% or more.

Comrade Nguyen Van Nen emphasized that in the current period, we are making efforts to streamline the organization of the cadre apparatus to be lean, strong, efficient, effective and efficient. The whole country is implementing the direction of rearranging provincial administrative units to be leaner, eliminating the district and commune levels, reducing them by more than 60%. This is the strongest, fastest and most thorough rearrangement, a strong streamlining to build a truly people's government, contributing to improving people's lives. In addition, it is necessary to quickly implement Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology development, innovation and national digital transformation to meet the needs in the new situation.

Comrade Nguyen Van Nen expressed his confidence in the young generation of cadres who have the courage, will and aspiration, ready to overcome challenges to excellently complete assigned tasks, especially in the preparation period for organizing Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress, with many innovations, in the spirit of the new Directive 35 of the Politburo.

In his acceptance speech, comrade Nguyen Manh Hung respectfully thanked the Politburo and the Secretariat for entrusting him with the important responsibility. Accepting the guidance of comrade Nguyen Van Nen, comrade Nguyen Manh Hung pledged to work with the Provincial Party Executive Committee to continue to inherit and promote the achievements that Tay Ninh province has achieved; to constantly strive to successfully complete the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress in all areas; to join hands and unite to build a clean and strong Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung was born in 1974; hometown in Hiep Hoa commune, Cau Ngang district, Tra Vinh province; studied at Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics, majoring in Economics; advanced degree in political theory. He has held the following positions: Deputy Chief of Office of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of Go Dau District Party Committee, Secretary of Tay Ninh City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, delegate of the Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term.
