Thanh Hoa Electricity Company accelerates digital transformation with artificial intelligence

Overview of the training course.

The program has the participation of leading experts from the FPT University System Technology Council, especially Mr. Hoang Nam Tien - Member of the Founding Council of FPT Corporation, Vice Chairman of the School Council - FPT University, who has many years of experience in the field of technology and digital transformation.

With the strong development of science and technology, digital transformation has become an inevitable trend in all fields. Responding to the digital transformation roadmap of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) and the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC), with the spirit of proactiveness, on March 25, 2025, Thanh Hoa Power Company (PC Thanh Hoa) organized an intensive training course on "Application of GenAI and AI in the electricity industry" for managers and specialists.

During the training course, experts from FPT, especially Mr. Hoang Nam Tien, harmoniously combined lectures between theory and practice, helping students not only understand AI but also have the opportunity to directly apply it to work.

Accordingly, experts introduced GenAI, the development of artificial intelligence in the electricity industry, and analyzed in depth practical applications. The teaching content focused on how AI supports workflow optimization, electricity consumption data analysis, load demand forecasting, and improving customer service quality. In particular, the course focused on AI Agents - an important tool in automating the operation and monitoring of power systems.

In addition to learning theory, students also practice on advanced AI platforms such as: how to fine-tune AI Agents, exploit smart data and optimize work performance. In addition, Mr. Hoang Nam Tien shared about leadership strategies in the digital age, helping officers and managers understand how to apply technology to innovate business operating models, increase labor productivity and reduce costs.
