In October, Ho Chi Minh City Police solved 138 very serious and extremely serious cases, arresting 375 subjects of all kinds. Among them was the case of breaking up a ring of buying and selling human body parts; and arresting 3 subjects who used guns to rob nearly 4 billion VND from a bank.

In the past month, Ho Chi Minh City Police have effectively implemented the proposed programs and work plans; maintained political security and social order and safety in the area. Thereby, the police have solved 138 very serious and extremely serious cases, arresting 375 subjects of all kinds.

Notably, the police have dismantled a ring of buying and selling human body parts, temporarily detained 4 subjects; pursued 3 subjects who used guns to rob nearly 4 billion VND from a bank in Hoc Mon district; dismantled 177 cases, arrested 425 subjects who violated drug laws, seized over 56kg of various drugs, 7 guns and many related tools and means.

In addition, the police discovered and fought 98 cases, 108 individuals and 8 organizations with signs of violations in corruption, economics, smuggling, etc. In the field of administrative management, the police continued to effectively implement and ensure the progress of Project 06 of the Government and the rate of settlement of administrative procedures related to the field of residence on the online public service platform.
From now until the end of the year, Ho Chi Minh City Police will focus on implementing the proposed programs and plans; strive to complete the tasks and work targets for 2023 at the highest level.
Timely and effectively deploy plans to prevent, deter, combat and eradicate all types of crimes; especially street crimes, crimes related to black credit, drug crimes, violations; smuggling, counterfeit goods, poor quality goods; violations of food hygiene and safety; storage, transportation, trading of firecrackers, explosives, etc., contributing to maintaining political security and order and safety in the area.
