Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police announced that they will officially accept applications for testing and reissuing driving licenses in the area, starting tomorrow (March 1).
According to this announcement, people who need to submit documents for testing, changing, and issuing driving licenses can contact 3 locations: No. 252 Ly Chinh Thang Street, Ward 9, District 3; No. 8 Nguyen Anh Thu Street, My Tay Ward, District 12 and No. 111 Tan Son Nhi Street, Tan Son Nhi Ward, Tan Phu District.
According to Ho Chi Minh City Police, administrative procedures for issuing and exchanging driving licenses will not change when the transfer is made between the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Public Security.
People can completely carry out procedures for issuing and exchanging driving licenses as usual at direct reception points or through the national public service portal.
According to the official announcement from the Traffic Police Department - Ministry of Public Security, from March 1, people who need to issue or change their driving licenses can do it in two ways: come in person (with a fee of 135,000 VND/issue) and do it online (with a fee of 115,000 VND/issue).
