According to Mr. Sau, it is unacceptable for teachers to beat students to such an extent. The department is waiting for a report from the school to consider the extent and then take disciplinary action.

Mr. Le Van Tam, Principal of Le Quy Don Secondary School, said that the incident of the teacher using a ruler to hit a student's leg several times happened in the afternoon class on November 11. The teacher also admitted to using the ruler to hit the soft part of the student's leg.

The school has asked the teacher to write a report. The school has temporarily suspended the teacher from work and the police are investigating the incident.

Mr. Tam acknowledged that the teacher was hot-tempered when she beat the male student. At the same time, he said that in this case, she should invite the parents of the two students to discuss. This afternoon (November 13), the school representative and the homeroom teacher also went to the beaten student's house to inquire, and together with the family took him to the doctor to check on his health condition.

Earlier, at noon the same day, the male student's family posted on social media, along with a picture of his bruised legs, expressing their anger.

According to his family, at first he refused to tell because he was afraid of having his conduct grade lowered. After his family persuaded him, the boy said he was beaten by his teacher after gym class 2 days ago. The reason was that he was picking grass to play and hit a friend, causing a mark on his back.
