Impressive 50 years of Quang Nam development through documents and typical products

This morning, March 21, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province organized an exhibition, displaying socio-economic achievements, national defense and security and introducing typical products, OCOP products to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Quang Nam province (March 24, 1975 - March 24, 2025), the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee (March 28, 1930 - March 28, 2025).

This is an activity of profound political significance to introduce and reflect comprehensively, generally and vividly the outstanding achievements and important results in the fields of politics, economy, culture, society, national defense and security, and Party building after 50 years of liberation and 95 years of the establishment of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee. At the same time, it propagates and promotes the potential, strengths and development orientation of the province according to the Quang Nam Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.

In addition, the introduction of typical products and OCOP products aims to promote the production of regional specialties, typical rural industrial products, products with local potential and advantages; is an opportunity to help OCOP entities promote their brands and promote trade.

The scale of the exhibition has a total of 72 booths, including 28 booths displaying and exhibiting achievements in socio-economy, national defense and security and 44 booths displaying typical products and OCOP products.

The entrance gate of the exhibition area is designed with stylized images of two world cultural heritages, Hoi An ancient town and My Son temple complex, demonstrating the unique historical and cultural values ​​of Quang Nam province.

In addition, the image of the statue of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Thu - the sacred symbol of Quang Nam province - is also a highlight in the center of the exhibition area.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Phan Thai Binh, Vice Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee, said that after the war, Quang Nam was a province lacking in all aspects, the people's lives were extremely difficult; but with the aspiration to rise up, the spirit of solidarity, with courage and creativity, the army and people of Quang Nam gradually overcame the consequences of war, boosted production, constantly made efforts to develop the economy, improve people's lives, build an innovative economy, sustainable development along with promoting traditional cultural values.

Up to now, after 50 years of construction and development, Quang Nam has been growing strongly, affirming its position as an industrial, tourism and service province.

"The exhibition is an event of special significance, an opportunity for us to look back on the glorious history of our province, and at the same time affirm the great achievements that the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Nam have achieved in the construction and development process; at the same time, it is also an opportunity to introduce to domestic and international friends the potential, strengths, typical products of our homeland, socio-economic achievements, unique and rich cultural values ​​that Quang Nam province has built and achieved over the past 50 years," Mr. Binh emphasized.

The exhibition lasts until March 25, in front of the Quang Nam Provincial Cultural Center.
