The CMC TEST is scheduled to take place on March 29 with about 1,000 candidates at 3 testing locations. The test is designed in the form of a multiple-choice test on a computer, consisting of 80 questions divided into three parts: Mathematics (30 questions), English (30 questions) and Logical Thinking (20 questions), with a total test time of 90 minutes.
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, Vice Principal of CMC University, said that this year, candidates have to face many changes in the curriculum, admission methods, and exam structure.
According to him, organizing the competency assessment exam will help candidates have more opportunities to demonstrate their abilities, not just based on exam results or high school academic results. This is also an opportunity for us to select the most suitable candidates, meeting the requirements of the school's training programs.

CMC University organizes the CMC TEST 2025 competency assessment exam.
To prepare for the competency assessment exam, CMC University established an examination council with the participation of the board of directors and leading associate professors and doctors in the exam preparation work, to ensure the quality of the exam is fair and reflects the candidates' abilities. Among them are Prof. Dr. Le Anh Vinh, Director of the Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Viet Dung, Head of the General Department, CMC University.
The examination board with leading experts to ensure the quality of the questions, helping to improve the quality and practicality of the questions in the CMC TEST. The exam's goal is not only to assess theoretical knowledge but also to test the candidates' logical thinking and critical thinking.
CMC University plans to organize 3 rounds of exams from March to May 2025. Round 1 will be held at 3 school locations including: Cau Giay High School, Phuc Loi High School and CMC University. The exam will be organized in a combination of 2 forms: direct and online through the school's own system, to create conditions for candidates nationwide to participate.
In order to encourage candidates to participate in the CMC TEST, as well as create conditions for students to study and research in a technological environment, CMC University will give laptops to all candidates participating in the 2025 aptitude test and admission to the school.
In addition, the school also announced the "CMC - Because you deserve it" scholarship fund worth 96 billion VND with 300 scholarships reducing 30-100% of the full course tuition fee.
This year, CMC University enrolls 1,510 students in 15 majors and training programs according to 4 admission methods, including: Admission based on the results of the CMC TEST competency assessment exam, admission based on the results of the academic transcript with the average score of the subject group for admission, without adding priority points.
