Session 26-9, banking and real estate stocks unexpectedly increased in price at the last hour.
Stocks maintained the excitement of the previous session and opened in the green on September 26. However, the morning session's scores were restrained when some large stocks fell in price.
Entering the afternoon session, the increase in VN-Index unexpectedly widened thanks to strong demand for banking and real estate stocks.
This was clearly shown when TPG stocks increased by 6.7%, HDB increased by 3.8%, MSB increased by 5.4%, and Vingroup stocks increased quite impressively (VIC increased by 1.5%, VHM increased by 0.57%, VRE increased by 0.52%)... From there, many investors expected banking and real estate stocks to continue to cause shock.
Notably, this session, foreign investors net bought stocks with a total net value of 969 billion VND, focusing on buying TPB, DXG, HDB...
At the end of the session, the VN-Index closed at 1,291 points, up 4 points, equivalent to 0.3%.
ACBS Securities Company said the market maintained its upward momentum for most of the trading period. High liquidity is a positive factor supporting the upward trend of stocks.
"In the coming time, the market is likely to experience strong fluctuations at the 1,300 point level. After that, the uptrend is expected to continue" - ACBS forecast
According to Vietcombank Securities Company (VCBS), although selling pressure increased sharply at the end of the session on September 26, it is not yet a cause for concern because this move only shows investors' caution when the market approaches the 1,300 point zone.
Therefore, VCSS recommends that investors should not chase high-priced stocks, especially stocks that are at their peak and showing signs of strong selling. At the same time, stock "players" can hold stocks that attract cash flow in the banking and real estate groups; can take advantage of fluctuations in each session to disburse some stocks in the oil and gas industry, public investment, etc.
