On November 14, CMC Telecom successfully organized an online webinar "Multi-level security on Cloud infrastructure," attracting nearly 150 businesses to participate.
This is a webinar in the online seminar series "SMEs on Cloud" of CMC Telecom, aiming to guide small and medium enterprises on optimal and safe solutions in the cloud computing environment.
Security risks that businesses may encounter when "going to the cloud"
This topic focuses on cloud security with the participation of two speakers: Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phuc, a security consultant with over 10 years of experience, and Mr. Le Doan, a CMC Cloud expert with in-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure.
At the webinar, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phuc shared about the security risks that businesses may encounter when moving their systems to the cloud platform. Common security challenges include external attacks, unauthorized access, and security vulnerabilities that make business data vulnerable. Mr. Phuc also emphasized the importance of multi-level security standards, especially level 3 - a model that balances security and wide applicability in businesses.
Mr. Le Doan continued by highlighting four main risks that businesses may face when deploying systems on the cloud. The first is the risk of control and management, when the business no longer has full control over the infrastructure. The second is the risk from the service provider, due to dependence on the security capabilities of the partner. Next is the risk of regulatory and legal compliance, requiring businesses to comply with global security standards. Finally, the risk of backup and recovery capabilities, posing a major challenge in ensuring that data is not lost or interrupted in the event of an incident.
Multi-level security solution from CMC Cloud
In his sharing, Mr. Le Doan introduced the advanced solutions that CMC Cloud is deploying, including Multi-CDN, WAAP/WAF, S3 Object Storage, and CNAPP (Cloud Native Application Protection Platform). These solutions help businesses not only optimize performance and ensure operational continuity but also comprehensively protect data. The Multi-CDN solution eliminates dependence on a single provider by intelligently switching between multiple CDN providers, ensuring that the business website always operates stably. Meanwhile, WAAP/WAF integrates an intelligent firewall, protecting websites and APIs from threats such as SQL Injection, Cross-site Scripting and other threats from OWASP Top 10.
CMC Cloud also introduced the S3 Object Storage service, a storage solution with 99.99% data durability, ideal for many frequent storage and retrieval needs. In particular, CMC Telecom's CNAPP solution helps protect cloud-based applications comprehensively, including access management, security monitoring, and early threat detection.
With diverse and comprehensive solutions, CMC Cloud not only provides businesses with a solid technology platform but also brings many outstanding benefits. By optimizing performance, comprehensive data protection and providing flexible management tools, CMC Cloud helps businesses increase competitiveness, save costs and focus on their core development. In particular, with a team of experienced experts and dedicated customer support, CMC Cloud is committed to accompanying businesses on the digital transformation journey, ensuring success in every project.
Webinar 02 received high praise from guests for its useful and practical content, helping businesses gain a deeper understanding of the importance of multi-level security in the digital age. CMC Telecom is committed to continuing to accompany Vietnamese businesses on the journey to build a solid digital foundation and optimal security, contributing to improving competitiveness and breakthroughs in a market full of potential.
