DNVN - On December 5, FPT Corporation announced the establishment of FPT Smart Cloud Japan Co., Ltd., headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. The company was established to develop an ecosystem of products and solutions applying AI and Cloud technology to serve customers in the Japanese market as well as throughout Asia.
The establishment of a company specializing in AI and Cloud in Japan is an important step in realizing FPT's long-term strategy after the Group launched FPT AI Factory in Japan in November.
According to IDC, Japan’s AI market is expected to reach $5.9 billion this year, up 31.2%. This is a huge opportunity for FPT’s new company to cooperate with organizations in Japan to access and apply high technology. FPT aims to develop sovereign AI and realize the common vision of making Japan an AI nation.

FPT AI Factory provides three main product groups: FPT AI Infrastructure provides GPU cloud services with top-notch supercomputing capabilities to accelerate the construction and deployment of large AI models; FPT AI Studio platform provides smart tools for building, training and in-depth fine-tuning of AI models using NVIDIA NeMo; FPT AI Inference, combined with NVIDIA NIM and NVIDIA AI Blueprints, enables the efficient deployment and expansion of these models in terms of scale and number of uses.
