Not only a modern means of transportation, Metro Line 1 has also become a new destination for people in Ho Chi Minh City. However, besides beautiful images, there are still cases of taking offensive photos.

After more than two months of operation, Metro Line 1 (the first metro line in Ho Chi Minh City) has been widely supported by the people. They use the metro to go to work, to school... and even take souvenir photos on the train to post on social networks.
However, besides beautiful photos, there are many cases of taking offensive photos, violating safety rules and affecting the overall experience of passengers.
"Some people even took off their clothes to take pictures right in the station, causing offense and affecting the civilized image of the metro," said a representative of the operating unit.
According to Urban Railway Company No. 1 (HURC1 - the operator), the unit encourages everyone to capture beautiful moments with metro No. 1, but must comply with regulations. Do not use tripods, do not turn on flash, and professional and commercial photography must be contacted in advance.
Be especially careful not to stand in dangerous locations such as near platform barriers or in the middle of the aisle during rush hour. It is strictly forbidden to activate the emergency button on the escalator to take photos.
"Station staff have the responsibility to remind, but with limited resources, they cannot control every passenger. The most important thing is still each person's awareness," the representative added.
In addition, the operating unit has also recorded that some passengers still do not have the habit of maintaining public hygiene. Bringing food and drinks onto the train, dropping them, and leaving garbage on the train has occurred.
Some passengers even bring pets in their backpacks and then release them when entering the platform, affecting people around them.
Not only is there a hygiene issue, many passengers are also blocking the entrances and exits, prolonging the time it takes for train doors to open and close, causing many trains to be delayed.

Mr. Phan Cong Bang - Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Urban Railway Management Board - said that metro line 1 operates automatically, but when passengers enter and exit too slowly or block the way, the door cannot close, affecting the schedule of the entire trip.
The unsanitary conditions on board the ship were also constantly reported by the operating staff.
"Currently, we are also increasing the frequency of work and promoting not bringing food and drinks on the train. Metro No. 1 has a large capacity, but the number of cleaning staff is limited and cannot handle it all. Therefore, it requires the cooperation of the people and coordination of both sides to bring about the image of a clean and smart urban railway," said Mr. Bang.
More seats at metro station number 1
To improve service quality, Metro Line 1 has recently added more waiting seats at stations, giving people more comfortable resting space.
At the same time, the metro has been adding green amenities such as phone charging stations and information lookup screens, creating the most convenient conditions for passengers.
