Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan affirmed that the Women's World Cup is a world-class tournament with highly competitive matches. Therefore, the Vietnamese women's team's resilient and determined performance, despite being at a disadvantage in terms of experience due to their first time on the world stage, deserves to be encouraged, motivated and recognized.
In the near future, coach Mai Duc Chung's team will compete with the Dutch women's team at Forsyth Bar Stadium, in Dunedin city on August 1.
The VFF President hopes that the players will continue to maintain their determination and play well against the Netherlands women's team - an opponent who is eager to win the top spot in the group.
