(CPV) - On the afternoon of December 31, at the Presidential Palace, the Office of the President held a conference to review the work in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025. President Luong Cuong attended and gave instructions.
Also attending were Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan; Head of the Office of the President Le Khanh Hai; representatives of leaders of a number of central departments, ministries and branches; and all officials, civil servants and employees of the Office of the President.

The report of the Office of the President at the Conference said that in 2024, the Office of the President made efforts to overcome difficulties, undertake and resolve a huge amount of work, especially in both domestic and foreign affairs to serve the State leadership. The Office of the President focused on implementing and resolving many major key tasks, unexpected tasks, new tasks, difficult tasks, and urgent requests. The Office has always promptly proposed and advised on the working programs of the President and Vice President. Coordinated, prepared documents and organized many major meetings to serve the President in presiding over important work and tasks of the Party Central Committee. Quickly implemented the direction of the President to decide on special amnesty on the occasion of National Day, September 2, for 3,767 prisoners; well implemented the receptions of heads of state, as well as organized foreign trips as assigned by the Politburo to the President and Vice President.
The Office has also proactively exchanged information, handled work, and promoted effective coordination with the Central Party Office, the General Secretary's Office, central agencies, ministries, branches, and localities to continuously improve the quality of advice and service to the activities of the President and Vice President.
The work of building the Party and mass organizations has made much progress. In general, the ideology of cadres, party members, and civil servants in the Office Party Committee is stable, they trust in the leadership and direction of the Party and the State; they maintain their moral qualities and lifestyle; many collectives, individuals, cadres, and party members have made efforts, been creative, and excelled in their work, successfully completing their assigned tasks. The agency is always united, unified, internally stable, cadres, party members, civil servants, and workers uphold the sense of organization and discipline, always maintain, cultivate, and practice moral qualities and working capacity, sense of responsibility, actively learn, and seek progress, in order to meet the requirements of advising and serving the President and Vice President.

Speaking at the conference, President Luong Cuong assessed that last year, the Office of the President made many efforts to overcome difficulties and coordinate with relevant agencies in handling a large volume of regular and unexpected work, serving the President and Vice President to successfully complete their assigned tasks.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, the President acknowledged and commended the results achieved by the leadership, party members, civil servants and employees of the Office of the President in 2024; at the same time, congratulated the collectives and individuals who had excellently completed their tasks last year and were honored to receive awards and emulation titles at the Conference.
Emphasizing that 2025 is the year of "acceleration, breakthrough, and reaching the finish line" to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; a year with many important events for the country, the entire political system must carry out many especially important political tasks, the President requested that the Office of the President in the coming time must regularly take care of doing well the work of Party building, improving the fighting capacity of Party organizations. Building the Party Committee and Party cells at the Office of the President increasingly clean and strong, truly the core of leadership to well perform assigned political tasks. Upholding the principle of democratic centralism, improving the quality of implementation of Party regimes and lifestyle, strictly complying with the Party's statutes, regulations of the Central Committee, and Party Committees at all levels. Must always maintain high solidarity and unity; Build a reasonable organizational structure, a team of officials and civil servants of the Office with sufficient qualities, equal to the tasks, research and innovate the recruitment and use of officials, encourage the use of talents, the spirit of innovation and creativity, dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility for the common good.
The President noted that in the roadmap for implementing the organization and streamlining of the apparatus, the Party Committee of the Office needs to closely follow the direction of the Central Committee, the Politburo, especially the Central Organizing Committee, closely coordinate with the Central Party Office, participate, propose, and contribute responsibility and quality to the draft project and documents submitted to the Politburo and the Central Executive Committee on the establishment of Party Committees of Central Party agencies. Focus on leading and directing the preparation and organization of the 9th Congress of the Party Committee of the Office of the President for the 2025-2030 term, focusing on preparing well the documents of the Party Congress; at the same time, doing a good job in personnel work.
The President emphasized that each collective unit and individual in the Office of the President must have a firm grasp of the functions and tasks of the agency and unit and perform well the assigned duties and tasks in 2025. Coordinate well with relevant agencies to develop and proactively implement work plans; focus highly on major, key political tasks, the work assigned to the President and Vice President, especially related to internal and external affairs associated with important events of the country.

In 2025, which is also the year of patriotic emulation congresses at all levels, towards the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress, the President requested the Office to continue to be proactive, advise, and serve the State leaders well, especially the Vice President in his capacity as First Vice Chairman of the Central Emulation and Reward Council to summarize emulation and reward work, direct local emulation congresses, and participate in the Council's work to prepare for the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.
Pointing out the importance of strong implementation in the construction and digital transformation of the Office, the President noted that the Party Committee and leaders of the Office need to thoroughly grasp and promptly and effectively implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW on science, technology, innovation, creativity and digital transformation associated with restructuring the organization, apparatus and staff, and must take human quality, work quality, and effectiveness in performing new, difficult and unexpected tasks as a measure for the efforts of each unit, collective and individual in the entire Office.
Along with that, the Office of the President must be one of the exemplary state agencies in implementing Resolution 18; completing on schedule, ensuring regulations; boldly innovating thinking, courageously restructuring the apparatus and people, building a team that is truly "elite, compact, strong". Implementing well the regime and policies on cadres, ensuring better material and spiritual life and progress of cadres, civil servants, and workers; paying attention to training and fostering cadres, especially successor cadres, young and promising cadres.
On the threshold of the new year 2025, the President wished the collective of cadres, civil servants and employees of the Office of the President to continue to be united, responsible, exemplary, promote the good results achieved, constantly strive, be proactive and creative to increasingly better meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
At the Conference, the Office of the President awarded collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in 2024./.
