Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Prime Minister of the Netherlands during a cycling session on Dien Bien Phu Street (Hanoi) at noon on November 2. Mr. Mark Rutte is known to be a bicycle lover, often cycling even when going to work.
The bicycle used by the Dutch Prime Minister is currently kept at the office of Tri Nam Digital Transport Joint Stock Company (Doi Can Street, Hanoi). Mr. Do Xuan Chien, an employee of the company, said that from today, no one is allowed to ride this bike, the purpose is to keep it as a souvenir.
The bike has a different design so as not to be confused with regular bikes in Vietnam. The basket has a water bottle compartment for exercisers.
The front of the car still has a sign printed with the symbol of 50 years of relations between Vietnam and the Netherlands with the image of a tulip (April 9, 1973 - April 9, 2023).
The vehicle is manufactured from special anti-rust steel to ensure it can withstand harsh weather conditions as well as prevent corrosion from sea salt.
The saddle can be retracted up and down, making it easy for people of all heights to use. According to the owner, the product is designed according to a separate company order, not overlapping with existing vehicles, ensuring that the parameters are suitable for the body shape of Vietnamese people.
To unlock usage, users need to download the TNgo application to their phone. The fee is 50,000 VND for a total of 450 minutes (equivalent to 7.5 hours) of use per day. If this time is exceeded in a day, the system will automatically apply a one-way ticket fee.
The wheel lock is located right under the saddle. For single-trip tickets, customers do not need to buy tickets in advance, just add points to their account and scan the QR code on the vehicle to use immediately. The fee is 5,000 VND to unlock the vehicle and use it for the first 30 minutes. After the first 30 minutes, the fee is calculated as 1,000 VND for every 6 minutes thereafter.
The car is imported from a unit specializing in providing cars for foreign companies, with full certification documents from demanding markets such as Europe and the US.
The user does not waste energy and will feel comfortable, natural sitting posture. In the picture is a bicycle similar to the one the Dutch Prime Minister rides.
Previously, on August 24, the Hanoi People's Committee coordinated with Tri Nam Company to open 79 public bicycle rental service points on the streets. This is a reasonable solution for many people in the area who have to hesitate to buy a million-dong bicycle and take up space at home.
The public bicycle rental service, part of the city's Urban Bicycle Project, scheduled to be launched at the end of 2022, was postponed because the investor wanted to develop more electric vehicles with throttles.
With 79 stations, each about 1 km apart, near tourist attractions, bus stations, and skytrains, the project aims to stimulate the use of environmentally friendly public transport.
TNGo public bicycle service is now available in 6 provinces and cities including: Hanoi, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Quy Nhon, Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh.
