Collision with car, young man on motorbike seriously injured

The traffic accident occurred at around 3:15 p.m. on March 23, at the intersection of Road 3 and Road 12C, in Binh Hung Hoa B Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City.

According to initial information, at that time, a 4-seat car with license plate 51G - 196.xx was running on Road 3, Vinh Loc residential area, from Nguyen Thi Tu Street to Road 6. When reaching the intersection of Road 12C, the car driver turned left and collided with a motorbike with license plate 59E1 - 692.72 driven by a young man, running in the opposite direction.

The strong impact threw the young man far on the road, lying motionless. The victim, identified as PVK (25 years old), was seriously injured and taken to the hospital with severe blood loss. At the scene, the motorbike was broken, many parts were scattered on the road; the car was also dented on the side.

On the afternoon of March 23, the Traffic Police Department of Gia Lai Province said that it was coordinating with other functional units to investigate a traffic accident in which a car crashed straight into a sign post, causing two people to be thrown from the car in the center of Pleiku City.

Accordingly, at around 11:25 a.m. the same day, a 4-seat car with license plate 34LD-0027 was traveling on Truong Chinh Street (Ho Chi Minh Road through the center of Pleiku City, Gia Lai Province) in the South-North direction, at the Ham Rong intersection towards the city center. When traveling to Group 2, Chi Lang Ward, the car increased speed and lost control, crashed straight into the sidewalk, knocked down a traffic signal pillar and two trees. The car then stopped completely in front of house number 753 Truong Chinh Street.

The accident caused two people sitting in the back seat to be thrown out of the car and become unconscious. The victims were then taken to Gia Lai General Hospital by local people for emergency treatment. According to the police, there were four people in the car at the time of the accident. Four Porsche drivers explain why they drove the wrong way on the highway

On the afternoon of March 22, Highway Traffic Police Team No. 1, Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) informed the results of verification and clarification of the clip recording the scene of a convoy of 4 Porsche cars encroaching on lanes, going into the opposite lane and recklessly overtaking on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway.

Accordingly, the incident occurred at around 10:15 a.m. on March 19, on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway, through Van Yen District, Yen Bai Province. This is a section of road with double, solid lines to separate the two directions of traffic. According to regulations, vehicles are not allowed to encroach on the lane or cross the line. After receiving the report, Highway Traffic Police Team No. 1 sent officers and soldiers to quickly verify the incident.

They include: Pham CC (born in 1990) driving Porsche with license plate 51K - 911.xx; Nguyen NS (born in 1992) driving Porsche with license plate 51L- 288.xx; Le HT (born in 1990, both residing in Ho Chi Minh City) and Nguyen VL (born in 1996, residing in Dong Nai) driving Porsche with license plate 51K - 939.xx. At the police station, these drivers said that due to urgent work, they had dared to drive into the opposite lane to avoid the vehicles in front.
